yep. Berge got points for PSU, and Lewan did not get points for Michigan in the championship final.
Big win for Berge, and NW held serve at in the title bout over Lewan. Penn State still needs a bit more to go its way (namely finals wins) but so far, so good.
Ultimately to win it, PSU needed to control what they could, and win in the Finals. Especially, H2H vs Michigan.
somewhat tough for me to root for Marinelli, but it would help PSU in the team race if he defeated Amine in the 165 final.
If Marinelli wins this, and the boys win at 174 & 184, it won't matter what Dean does, and as long as Kerk wins or keeps it close, I think we're in.
When does BTN show the obligatory Mrs. Marinelli? They sooo predictable.
Marinelli would make a great sumo wrestler. Pushouts are his specialty

Scary match. Massa looked good in his semi.

Another tough match. Also huge in the team race.
Amine's only loss this season is to AB. AB has had 16 matches this year, and 12 of them were to ranked wrestlers, and he won them all.

Byers says AB had given up 1 TD all season, and then gives up one late in the 3rd period and early in the SV
initially I thought Aaron bumped heads with Amine but after replay it didn't appear that way. But the reaction he showed looked like he had either a head butt (he didn't) or just a total instantaneous mental hiccup. Let's get 'em in two weeks, Aaron!
Byers says PSU needs a win from Dean and from Kerk, and for one of them to score a bonus point, as well as Brucki to lose to Warner, for PSU to be able to win the team title.
Per Jeff Byers: PSU needs Iowa's Warner to beat Michigan's Brucki in the 197 third place match. It also then needs wins by Max Dean in 197 final and Greg Kerkvliet in 285 third-place match. And, beyond all that, it needs one of those two to win by bonus points if Warner wins.
Amine deserved it. Seems like a classy guy too. AB completely gassed, shocking really.
