More oddities in last nights game....
Maldonado used an illegal bat in game 1, and it was pretty much glossed over during the broadcast. He got a big hit that contributed to their 3 run inning and was illegal. MLB just says don't use that bat anymore, should be some kind of penalty, IMO.
Then Valdez changes his shoes and Glove in the 4th inning last night, how many times does a pitcher whose cruising do that in a game, not alone in the WS. Seems very odd, he was always rubbing his glove, wiping his hands.
After 2017...these Astros can't be trusted PERIOD! All this stuff should be looked at with much more scrutiny after that fiasco!

MLB pulling the same bs delay games as they did to the Yankees fans. Make a f'inh decision. They are just making concession money off of people hoping it isn't canceled which it looks like is probable. Funny thing is that this would benefit the Phillies in a huge way if it was postponed. Tues-Thurs Suarez, Nola, Wheeler and then travel day Thor/Falter, and Suarez in Houston if necessary

Ugh.
I'm also surprised that they've pushing back the travel day, which would make Game 7 on Sunday. MLB and Fox purposely set the schedule up so that they didn't go against the NFL on a Sunday.

It's a tacit acknowledgement that Wheeler is not quite the Wheeler we were accustomed to up until Saturday night. They're sticking to giving him rest (now an extra day from originally expected).
He’s injured. Anytime you give your ace 6 days rest in the World Series it’s because he’s injured and they’re trying everything to get him healthy by then. I’m hoping it’s the bruised knee giving him issues and it clears up
And I have a Billy Strings show after a HS soccer banquet Thursday. Kid most important but I thought I’d have bye on the Phils at least, onward…
