Kind of surprising, in that when healthy he's very good. I guess they got tired of his injuries. Hopefully, they can find a $$ solution that works for both parties

@s1uggo72 is probably hoping that Big V comes back to the roost. :ROFLMAO:

well first I think they should resign who they have in a boy named Sue, and Jack Driscoll. In fact I think Driscoll might be better suited for OG than OT and would be a better option at RG than Skeen, but we will see. That said, Big V been hurt with back issues I believe, which is never good. I could see him resigning for a low risk prove it deal. I'd be all over that. The last time Big V started for the Eagles, they won a super bowl !!!

Saquon flies in the face of everything we’ve seen from this franchise. But if they move their DEs, then that frees up another $30 million in cap space. 🤷‍♂️

It's a sad day for Birds' fans. Signs were that he was going to retire, but after watching his play last year, he certainly seemed as though he still had some game left in his tanks.

The only good thing about the announcement is that it's resolved before the start of FA.
This is the cycle of sports, Tom. The older guys move on and those dollars are used to lock up the next generation of stars like Dickerson and Devonta.

The Fletch and Kelce era was a big success. The Eagles won a title and played for another. Last year’s team as built wasn’t going to cut it in 2024. This allows them options to improve the roster too.

Tough to replace 2 generational talents-Cox on defense and Kelce on offense-but clearly Eagles have known that they would be retiring. That is sports and hopefully Eagles are well prepared for 2 predictable retirements of 2 Hall of Fame level players.

I would have liked the Birds to resign D'Andre, but these numbers seem higher than they would have wanted to go:

Agree. We saw this movie with Sanders last season. Good luck to Swift. Good player.

This deal makes me skeptical on the Saquon rumors.

I thought I saw the Eagles and Cowboys dropped out of the bidding, I'll look and see if I can find that. some of this stuff I see on FB which does not seem to be that reliable
