GR’s ate the greatest. Best dogs ever.
One tried for a cradle and the other broke away then ran 1,000 miles an hour for a double leg, wich the other one side stepped and then locked up a the bow and arrow. Being facetious, of course, but it was a battle.

157 Semi: #2 seed Levi Haines vs. #3 seed Peyton Robb (Nebraska) (I'll use PR or Robb)

A repeat of the B1G Final, which Haines won in SV

Per 1
Robb sort of shoots, nothing. Robb working a lot of underhooks early on. Haines has enough hair for both of them. LOL. Under a minute left and no real shots so far. Haines sort of reaches, nothing. End. Can't read anything from that period

Per 2
Robb takes bottom. PR works up, and he's out in about 6 sec, 0-1. Robb reaches, nothing. They each are controlling the heads so much that shots are tough. Robb tries a throw-by and got behind but Haines scoots away. Haines in on a single, they scramble, ROB is exposed, and there is the TD, 2-1. Robb to his feet, and gets away, 2-2. End. RT @ 28 sec for Haines

Per 3
Haines takes bottom. He works up, Robb the leg, Haines to his feet and he's out in 20 sec, 3-2. Robb with another throw-by and Haines with a whizzer, Haines close to getting behind, and Haines with the TD, 5-2. 30 sec left. Neither guy doing much, but Haines with a nice ride. Robb to his feet, stall warning on Haines. End An esc was awarded at the buzzer, so it's a 5-3 DEC for Levi Haines!!!!!

He'll wrestle in the final tomorrow night.

Our 62# female loves wrasslin’ every morning with a neighboring 100# white male Lab. If the irrigation sprinklers are running, it’s even more fun for both of them.

He was seeded 6th and will finish either 3rd or 4th. Either way, he wrestled better than his seed and validated the move from 149 to 141.

Even more so for Van Ness, who was seeded 12th and has guaranteed himself a similar finish.
He was only at 149 because Lee was one point better than him in wrestleoffs. This is his natural weight. He bumped for the good of the team.

Carr defeats Monday, 6-5. Monday couldn't get away from bottom in the 3rd period, so Carr won on the RT point.

197 pound consolations: Max Dean vs. Jaxon Smith, Maryland

First period
Dean called for stalling as he backed away as Smith was charging ahead. There's 1:21 left in the first. It's 0-0 after one.

Second period
Dean down to start the second. He's out in five seconds for a 1-0 lead. Dean is in on a single and he picks Smith's leg up and tries to drop in on the other leg as Smith tries to fend it off near the edge. Dean keeps reaching but Smith squares up but not enough as Dean is awarded the takedown. Maryland challenges immediately. After a long review, the takedown stands. It's 3-0 Dean with 41 seconds left in the second period. Smith stands and quickly turns in and is out to 3-1. They wrestle on the edge and now it's Smith that is called for stalling for backing up as Dean shot in. It's 3-1 after one, and both wrestlers have a stall warning.

Third period
Smith down. They go off the edge. On re-start, Smith is quickly out to 3-2. They come together and Dean almost is able to finish a shot but can't and they go off the edge as Dean nearly stepped through. With a minute left, they're neutral. Dean gets a leg on the edge but Smith brings him off. They re-start and Smith had a body lock but they go flying off again. Thirty seconds to go. Dean now gets a single and has Smith jumping around with 13 seconds left but they go neutral. Smith flies in but can't finish and that's it. Max Dean is an All-American again.

Dean d. Smith, 3-2

CStar is so clean. He just doesn’t ever seem at risk. Foca is good too!!! Didn’t matter.
On to Brooks Hidlay round a million. Let’s go.

174 Semi: #1 seed Carter Starocci vs. #4 seed Chris Foca (Cornell) (I'll use CF)

Per 1
Lots of hand fighting and head control off the whistle. CStar in on a head inside single, CF with a whizzer, CStar elevates the leg, CF tries a roll (kind of dumb) and CStar stops it and gets the TD, 2-0. And what a surprise, they are on the edge. OOB with 1:16 left. CF works up to his base and driven back down. CStar working half and nearly had him over (may have gotten 1 swipe; not sure), but then CF is on his belly. End. RT @ 1:45 for CStar

Per 2
CStar takes bottom. he works up, and is cut in about 6 sec, 3-0. CF shoot, CStar sprawls, nothing. CStar seems like he almost went for a counter, but didn't. CStar pulls down on the head, nothing. CF by the edge again, and CStar pushing in to him. CStar gets a head inside single, he elevates it along the edge, but CF kicks out. CStar grabs a knee just as the buzzer sounds. End. RT @ 1:39 for CStar

Per 3
CF takes neutral. CStar doing some dancing, lol. Stall warning on CF. 1 min left. CStar drives in and gets a leg at the edge, elevates and trips CF down for the TD, 5-0. RT is locked. OOB with 27 sec left. CStar working a tilt combo, but the buzzer sounds. With 2:30 in RT, it's a 6-0 DEC for CStar

He'll wrestle in the final tomorrow night!
