So we will be playing OSU, UM, PSU and USC.
And people will still ***** about our OOC and Schianos record

Will we have 1 or 2 protected annual opponents?

Iowa playing 3 top 10 offenses from last year. Either their defense is going to have to really step it up or Brian Ferentz will need a few out of body experiences as OC.
For those that do not have 20/10 vision:
Rutgers will play all of the teams currently in the Big Ten East, except for Indiana, in 2024. It will not play Michigan or Ohio State in 2025.

Trying to decide if I'm surprised or not that Rutgers-Penn State isn't protected. Maybe it would have been if it wasn't so one sided so far.
PSU has no protected opponents and I think that's what they wanted IIRC.
Both LA teams coming to RU over those two years. I think it’ll be fun to see that.

Two road trips to the east though in PSU and Maryland. I think byes before or after might often fall around these cross country trips for teams.
I can't wait to see Rutgers in my own backyard.
We have Maryland, Penn St and UCLA twice, home and road in 24 and 25

What kind of sleeping accommodations will you offer when RU plays UCLA and USC away?
As a married man, I can't offer anything. I pay the bills and wife makes the decisions.

Looking forward to visits. My oldest was admitted to UCLA, and ultimately going to RU was best due to pandemic, but I love that campus!!
I can already see it: "the league screwed Rutgers with traveling to both Wisconsin and USC. Can't expect to win those games."
If only the Big Ten would stop making Rutgers play all these Big Ten teams. Its really hampering the GS 2.0 rebuild.

Rutgers State Penn is not a rivalry no matter how much we RU fans want it to be.
Maryland is the closest team we have to one and that’s because we joined together.
I was thinking similarly.
2025 looks like the season we may finally actually have a legitimate shot at finishing above .500 in the B1G. A 3-6 or 4-5 B1G record would be disappointing, to say the least.
