Nice. And Clarkson won in OT. As the college hockey day ends, up to 12th in PW. 3 games that really matter tomorrow. Penn State/Minn, UMass/UMass-Lowell, Clarkson/Quinnipiac.

Quinnipiac plays St Lawrence today and will be heavily favored.
Shame we lost the shot at home ice. If Sparty beats the Domers in regulation, Minny will be the 2 seed in B1G no matter what happenss here.

Good thing for us is everyone we would likely play if we get past Mich, is ranked higher.Finals may just be enough to get to 12-13.
I don’t necessarily disagree, but I wanted to point out the pairwise predictor had us at 49 percent to make the field before Saturday’s loss. In spite of that loss, PSU is now at 61 percent to make the field. Just throwing that out there.
If PSU wins their first round series I think they get in. If they get swept, they’re out IMO. Winning once (not getting swept) just may be enough if PSU gets some help.
Problem is each conference gets an AQ and 2 conferences, as of today, have no one in PW top 16. Quinnipac is at risk at13. That means unless 14/15-16 win their tourney, they are knocked out for those outside 16 AQs
Absolutely need to get past Michigan for any chance.
Depends on how we do versus UM but 14 in pairwise would generally get in though it would depend on if lower ranked teams steal bids via tournament championships. I would think that advancing past Michigan would be enough to solidify a spot in
Good points. It seems that 12 and above pairwise is kind of the magical number most seasons. On any given night teams 1-5 could easily beat each other. Even teams six and seven aren't horrible. I wouldn't be surprised if you end up winning the conference tournament. IIRC that is an autobid.
