Aaron Nagao vs. Julian Chlebove Arizona State

First period
Chlebove had a couple of scoring chances but didn't finish. Nagao shoots in and gets a leg and a good scramble ensues but there is no scoring before a stalemate is called. No score after one.

Second period
Chlebove down to start the second. Nagao works up under Chlebove's arms for a turn attempt. He was in good position but a stalemate was called. Chlebove stands on the restart and gets out to 1-0. Nagao gets in on a leg and Chlebove tries to fend it off, Nagao kept working toward a takedown and they ended up in a potentially dangerous call but time ran out anyway.

Third period
Nagao down. Nagao tries for a reversal following a Chlebove mat return but potentially dangerous stops the action again. Nagao stands and gets out this time to tie things at 1-1. But, Chlebove did get the riding time clock under a minute, so that's not in play at the moment (Clock favors Nagao but only at :56). Nagao shoots on a single and gets Chlebove's right leg and hikes it up near the edge of the mat as Chlebove bounds and Nagao pulls him toward center circle. They go toward the mat and Nagao gets the leg back and throws Chlebove toward his back. It is a five point throw, three takedown and two nerfalll, for a 6-1 lead with three seconds left. But ASU challenges, so hold everything.

CALL REVERSED.
So we go back to a 1-1 match with 28 seconds left. This is nice long review. Good things we split this up, @Tom McAndrew! Now Penn State challenges before the action restarts. It's unclear what is being challenged. Three points are awarded to Nagao off that review. The Arizona State coaches, as you might imagine, are irate. And they're going back to the monitor. All told, it's a 4-1 lead for Nagao with three seconds left. He has a riding time point, as well. He wins, 5-1.

Nagao d. Chlebove, 4-1

What an interesting last 28 seconds of the match. Thought he had the takedown at the minimum.

141: Championship Quarters:
#2 seed Beau Bartlett vs. #26 seed Vance Vombaur (Minny) -- I'll use VV

Per 1
Not much thru 1st minute. (Hey Ironhead, the match is taking place.) Not much thru 2nd minute. End

Per 2
Beau takes bottom. Beau to a r-pt stance, to his feet, returned, to his feet again, and returned. OOB with 1:42 left. VV with a good ride. Beau to a 4ppt stance, then to his feet and he's out in @ 47 sec, 1-0. End. RT @ 47 sec for VV

Per 3
VV takes bottom. He's out in @ 4 sec, 1-1. Beau in on a single, elevates the leg and has VV dancing, and he gets the TD, 4-1. OOB with 1:04. OOB again with 51 sec left. VV to his feet and he's out, 4-2. RT is @ 23 sec, so not a factor. VV in on a single, he has Beau dancing, they scramble, and Beau gets the TD and gets the PIN!!!! @ 6:48

Tom can you confirm that Nagao got the neutral NF points? People said in the arena that after the overturn, Cael challenged and said that neutral NF points could've been awarded during the sequence and that is why the suit guy came out. Either way, I don't care, I just have never seen this before.

Edit: Seems like since he had the leg of Nagao, no takedown but had his back exposed for the requisite time and got the 3.

Are they making sure they finish each weight class before moving to the next?
