Props to Mom for all that driving. That's a dedicated parent, this kid comes from good stock!
We are getting more commits than ever from other B1G states plus 5 from Florida and 3 from NC. RU seems to be casting a wide net this year and its paying off with big dividends.
NJ high school football is overrated. Glad to see more out of state talent coming in.
I don’t know if it’s overrated or not. But I’ve always thought focusing too much on recruiting NJ was a bad idea, if that was what RU coaches were trying to do. Lots of good players all across the country.
Actually it's not. But just as the big boys come into NJ, and have for least 60 years, to get that talent so RU should look nationwide to maximize the talent on the roster.
Over the years, enough coaches from other schools have said that NJ is a good recruiting ground that I figured there was probably something to it. But the only way to know just how true it is would be to dig up all the relevant stats on how well NJ players have done after recruitment.
