They're not fans of RU.

Back in April CFN had RU's win total at 3 and finising last in the Conference. The only wins were Howard, Akron, and Ilini. Now they raised it to 5.

While they do a somewhat decent analysis, I think they are underestimating a few things. How they don’t have Tyreem Powell as one of their top 10 players is a head scratcher, if he stays healthy he will probably be their highest draft pick (among several) next year. Overall, I think they are placing too much emphasis on past recruiting rankings when evaluating overall talent level. There are a lot of 4th and 5th year players in the two deep. Many are much better players than their rating out of HS. While RU may not be in top 5 or 6 talent wise , they are not in the bottom third in the conference talent wise. I think 7 or 8 wins are very possible if the QB stays healthy.

The consensus number on Purdue is 4.5 and they predict two. Rutgers is not alone. A waste of time.
