5-10 Cincinnati defeats #11 Iowa State 71-63. Cincinnati is ranked #159 in the NET- a Q4 loss.
Cal forgets they are playing basketball and scores just 4 points the last 8 minutes of the game lol.
Clemson beats NC State 75-65. Wolfies looked terrible while being outscored 23-8 in the 4th quarter.
Great move by Deja. She will be playing against WNBA players which IMO will be good for her. I hope she can make a roster this upcoming season. The WNBA will have two new teams for this coming season. Go luck to Deja and to any other former UNC players that will be trying out for WNBA this season coming up. Go Heels!
Impressive win by Syracuse today. Especially considering their best player in Pheila was out. With or without her, that will be a tough match up for us as they’re very athletic at several positions and are dominant on the glass.
Louisville erases a double digit deficit to beat NCSU in OT. Berry had 33 pts and 12 RB.
Dook and Louisville are starting to separate from the rest of the ACC, each going 8-0 so far earning a 2 game lead over the rest.

I'm only pointing out the tough games for Dook and Louisville. Louisville has a 4 four game stretch in which they play the California schools on the road, Dook at home, and Syracuse on the road. The only other tough game. for them after that is a home game against ND, whom they have already beaten. Dook has Louisville on the road and State and Carolina in back to back home games, and at Carolina to end the regular season.
Geno has his team looking vintage UConn. Not sure anyone will beat them in the tourney unless they have a very off night.
On the other hand, the ACC regular season title is out the window.
1) win out and Louisville lose 3x in their last 10 games to tie?
2) win out and they lose 4x

what could happen though? We take care of business one game at a time. NET is already back up to 21. Take care of our business. Another Louisville win over Notre Dame, Duke, and Stanford would actually help our case.

Louisville is already a lock to host. Who is going to be the other 1 or 2 ACC teams that do? One game at a time. Keep growing.
Truly believe that UConn, UCLA, South Carolina and Texas are the teams which could play in the final four as number one seeds. The talent which they have assembled is crazy, but still believe that this young team at UNC will make the sweet sixteen if they continue to improve.
I think this team can reach the 16 if everyone is playing well. The Notre Dame game shows us what can happen when we don’t show up. I feel like that was a total outlier but they have had other periods of poor play. I still think continued good play by RK is the key.
Like C-151 says we have got to keep stacking win. Take care of our business.

I think the four best teams to reach the final four will be UCONN, UCLA, University of South Carolina, and Texas. We have some tough games ahead: NC State, Duke, and VA will be tough. GT game on the road will be a tough one as well. For some reason, playing GT at their place has been hard for us to win there. The Stanford game is going to hurt. We should have beaten them. We know Duke at Duke is going to be really tough to win and if the NC State is at State, that is going to be a really tough game to win on their homecourt. IF we play VA at their place that is going to be another tough game to win. VA has had our number at their place for awhile now. The ND should us what happens when the coaching staff; especially CB did not have a solid game plan. If you looked at all the games that ND lost, those teams made sure that HH was not going to beat them and they made it hard for her to drive in the lanes. UCONN did the same thing against them as Louisville, Duke, NC State, etc. I still cannot figure out why CB and her staff did not follow the blue print that Duke and NC State did against ND. If just blows by mind when you have a coach who has 17 years of coaching experience. The Stanford and ND game really hurt us. The GT game is not going to be easy at their place. We have to take it one game at a time and stack up wins one game at a time. The pressure is on now, we shall see how tough this team is. I still believe that can get it done but it want be easy. The goal for this UNC team is to finish in the top 4 before the ACC tournament. This is achievable but they need to play better to compete against State and Duke, whom are playing some good basketball as of late. Need to cleanup the turnovers and rebound better which is all about blocking out, and effort.
Looks like she hasn't played since January 4. Hate it for her. She's the one player that made my stomach drop when she announced she was transferring.
As most of you know that was an issue at UNC with Key's staying healthy. Continue to wish her the best, would have been nice if she had decided to stay.
bradarb08, thanks for sharing. Clemson beating ND shows that we should have beating them if CB and staff would have coached and prepared the game plan correctly. Clemson coach did exactly what I said CB and staff should have done. He looked at the Duke, NC State, Louisville, and GT tape and said we want stop HH but we are going to stop Prosper and force the other players to beat us. This verifies that CB got out coached, her arrogance got in the way. We should have beaten ND. They only have two legit players that can beat you, and CB and Staff elected to let both of them just kill us. Also, UK has lost three games in a row; however not having TK is really hurting them. Also, the SEC is a much tougher and better conference than the ACC this year. This was evident when they demolished us during ACC / SEC challenge. We only had 3 teams to win, and they beat us 12 to 3. Thank God, we are not in the SEC this year because our record would be worse than what it is now.
