I thought I heard that as wellIt sounds like LaPorta is out tomorrow.
Due to Huff's hamstring injury, I haven't updated this for a few weeks. As a reminder, if Huff gets 8 sacks, the draft pick the Birds got for him from San Fran goes from a 5th round to a 4th round pick.
Week 1: 0 sacks
Week 2: 1 sack
Week 3: 1 sack
Week 4: 0 sacks
Week 5: 1 sack
Week 6: 0 sacks
Week 7: 1 sack
Week 8: 0 sacks (didn't play due to the hamstring injury)
Week 9: 0 sacks (didn't play due to the hamstring injury)
Week 10: 0 sacks (played 34 snaps, so he looks to be over the hamstring issue)
Bryce needs to up his game, and get 4 more sacks.
How did Barkley lose his burst in less than 9 months? I’ve been reading and hearing this about Barkley every year since college…it’s been things like he’s hurt, he’s slower since coming back from his injury, he’s put on too much muscle….and it always seems to come up in seasons where his OLine is playing like garbage- funny how that works. It’s not Barkley, it’s the OLine and the play calling.Maybe the talent has been over estimated. The OL is crippled, Rex Ryan says AJ is the 134 rec in the NFL in getting separation. SB has lost his burst So that leaves Smitty DG and Hurts. I think Tank needs more carries. We will see
I believe he was limited at practice, but this is encouraging:
It's amazing what a 17 point win over an historically-inept Raiders team will do to national media perception. The only thing making me somewhat antsy about this game is the slow play of the Eagles offense.it will be an interesting game this weekend, according to many of the experts, it is clear Dallas is much better than the Eagles.
I am thinking (hoping) the Eagles O breaks out this week. I think Cam plays so I hope we can be sound vs their DT's outside of them and the Amish LBer there's not too much to worry about on D. Eagles make a couple of their long 8 -9 minute drives and score TD,s we should be good. It's amazing what a 17 point win over an historically-inept Raiders team will do to national media perception. If Dallas somehow pops a couple of big plays (they're capable), then how will the Eagles keep pace?
