The top plays and 'three stars' from the Eagles' mandatory minicamp
Kelee Ringo, Terrace Marshall, Eli Ricks, and Kyle McCord had their moments in the Eagles' last practice of the spring/early summer.

I am hoping this is true as Imo this is what was missing....
“Steen has developed a lot,” Johnson said. “I think when you look at him, he’s just a physically gifted dude, man. He’s a lot stronger than what he was when he first arrived.

Much respect for Eagles RB Saquon Barkley in CBS Sports Top 100, not so much for Jalen Hurts
Barkley is Pete Prisco's 3rd overall player in his annual top 100, while Lane Johnson is his top overall OT and Jalen Hurts is ... not among the elite QBswww.phillyvoice.com

Top 100 NFL players of 2025: Patrick Mahomes holds onto top spot, running backs making strides
Pete Prisco shares his 100 best players entering the new seasonwww.cbssports.com
Hurts doesn’t fit the classic profile for what people want in a QB. His elite skills are uncommon.I just don't get the lacklustre reviews on Hurts. He has outplayed Mahomes twice now in the NFL's marquee game. No fault of his he plays on a very talented team. He is a very good leader. He has solid stats and continues to improve.
Yup, I see QB's like Bradshaw with his offensive surrounding cast, Staubach with his team etc. get their accolades and told how great they were as QB's. Hopefully is Jalen wins a few more Super Bowls people will give him some credit.Hurts doesn’t fit the classic profile for what people want in a QB. His elite skills are uncommon.
He’s also surrounded by a juggernaut of offensive talent, so it’s easy for people to give his success to his supporting cast.

Surprising to me to see Daniels that high ahead of Jalen based off 1 season of work. Washington has a much more difficult schedule this year and much more film for people to see and study. We will see how well Daniels does this year against solid competition.Yeah, it is kind of surprising.
Going just on Pete Prisco's Top 100 (linked above; the CBS Sports article), which ranks players at all positions (tough enough to rank when you just look at a single position), here's the QBS and their ranking in his Top 100:
1. Mahomes
4. Josh Allen
6. Lamar Jakson
7. Joe Burrow
33. Jayden Daniels
49. Justin Herbert
52. Jalen Hurts
57. Baker Mayfield
77. Jared Goff
90. Dak Prescott
92. Jordan Love
It seems debatable as to whether or not Prisco even got the order correct with regards to QBs, let alone their ranking in the Top 100.
I have been wondering about this as well and can only point to his meh year in 2023 as being a possible reason for his downgrade. Hurts had a bad second half of the 2023 season.I just don't get the lacklustre reviews on Hurts. He has outplayed Mahomes twice now in the NFL's marquee game. No fault of his he plays on a very talented team. He is a very good leader. He has solid stats and continues to improve.
It will be interesting to see where Daniels goes. Hurts kind of took off after a stellar 2022 season and then shouldered too much blame for the collapse in 2023. Then Barkley’s amazing year in 2024 stole the spotlight too.Surprising to me to see Daniels that high ahead of Jalen based off 1 season of work. What you say makes sense, but who knows?I think it will very tough for them to replicate last year. They did get a few crazy bounces that helped them win games. They also snuck up on people along with an easier schedule. This year they won't sneak up, teams have a solid year of game film to study and prepare as well as their schedule is going to be much tougher. I don't see them winning 13 games this year.
