197 Semifinal: #4 seed Josh Barr vs. #1 seed Jacob Cardenas (Michigan)
I'll use JC for Cardenas
Per 1
JC in on a low single, Barr with a whizzer then heavy hips and Barr powers into JC and gets the TD, wow, 3-0. Barr with a nice drive. Close to a tilt, but not quite, and eventually JC gets to his stomach. JC works to his feet, but they go OOB with 1:18 left. JC to his feet, and he's out, 3-1. Not much happening. End. RT @ 1:24 for Barr

Barr takes bottom. JC very slow to get to the center. Barr up quickly, down, hits a switch, back to his feet, and he's out, 4-1. It took Barr @ 13 sec to escape. Barr shoots, nothing. Stoppage at 1:09 for JC being banged in the head. The trainer is checking him. Trainer indicates he's good to go. Barr reaches, nothing. JC shots, Barr with a sprawl, nothing. End RT @ 1:09 for Barr

JC up, returned, and flattened. JC works up to a 3-pt stance, then his feet, and he's out, 4-2. OOB with 1:36 left. JC shoots, but stoppage for interlocking hands with 36 sec left. JC shoots, nothing, but a stall warning on Barr. Stall gallon Barr as they go OOB. Byers goes crazy, but it's a correct call, 4-3. JC shoots, nothing. End. With 1:31 in RT, it's a 5-3 DEC for Josh Barr!!!
He advances to the Championship Final!!!!

No, everyone still has a chance to wrestle for 3rd or better…relax. This is an Iowa+ team this year. Solid top to bottom, but not super top heavy.
