This offense is trash. Nearly every impact play is negated by a penalty. The OL looks like they haven’t practiced in 2025.
#10 should have known that'd be called. I suppose just a natural reaction, but it didn't affect the play.
Oh, it didn’t stop there. There were a lot of lectures for anyone thinking that this game might be competitive too
The offensive line is a disaster. Embarrassing.
We have no hope of competing with decent teams, nevermind the SEC, with this level of O line play.

Kamario has shown more vision in two just two runs than anyone who has touched the ball in the last 2 years.
I know it's early, but another season like last and everybody needs to go. The program will be nuked keeping these clowns around anyway.

If I were GM I wouldn't spend a cent on other positions until we were at least 1 deep on o line with SEC talent. Preferably 2, but we are emstate so beggars can't be choosers but we should be able to at least do that
Yes. Yes there were. I was laughed at by close friends for feeling like this could be close. I heard about the portal rankings of this o and d line. Well, I think it is safe to say we are getting out played up front. Hopefully adjustments are made and we look better in the second half. I am not going to hold my breath.

You folks have fun. I'm going to watch some other college football this season. It's a pity how long it's been since worn any Mississippi State gear during football season.
I think we all see why Steen isn't playing left tackle. Not that he is the only player on this team that stinks. I retract ALL my previous enthusiasm. We are still hot garbage. If the d cant stop USM oh boy. And the Oline cant block them oh boy. Wait until SEC play starts. Or ASU for that matter.

Based on our first half - if Lebby and co don’t adjust and they get out coached in second half today, we are looking at another 2 Win season.
We have the occasional bright spot play but outside of our PK and maybe 6-7 other players, we aren’t very good.
And those will get poached and transfer out in December.

I want to add one more thing. Until we take our football program seriously and adopt a modern style of play and recruiting, we will be left behind. Are we still using a three-man defense line? If we could cover better, I might understand what is on our coaches' minds.

Our skill players are better. But... I'm not so sure about the Lines on both sides of the ball.
