KS in left tonight. I hate when someone like Stott has a great game and then he sits the next game.

Welp, Nola off to a fantastic start tonight, top of first, 4-0, and a ton of pitches. Dude is shot

This is not a World Series contender right now. I’m not sure if they can salvage this at the deadline or what, but this team has serious holes.

Everyone still feeling good about Nola? Sheesh. He sure knows how to throw water on a rally. 6 ER last night.

And he’s signed for another 6 years after 2025?

I wasn't a huge fan of the contract but starting pitchers are at a premium and the Phils were bidding against the Braves. I think the Braves were going 6 years and the Phils went an extra year to keep him. Not sure they expect him to actually play out the entire contract.

It certainly seems like Nola is on the downside of his career at this point. Do I think he went from 3.50 ERA guy to a 6.50 ERA in one season? No way. He will regress back to the mean. Now, maybe that is now 4.00 ERA and a #3 starter. Probably overpaid as a #3, but such is life. I'm not sure any of the other FA options in 2023 were that great.
