Pirates sweep imminent. Cruz on second no outs, Cutch broken bat single to right, Casty leisurely makes his way to ball and makes a soft toss to the plate. Meanwhile Cruz stumbled on his way to third. Any semblance of a hard throw home has Cruz dead out. This team needs to be blown up. All outfielders should be shot in a rocket to the moon. Plus no relievers and no hitters. At this point bring up the entire Iron Pigs team and ship this bunch of mopes to Allentown!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Stop sugar- coating sh*t! Tell us straight up!

Ring It!!!

Fightins win, 4-3, in the bottom of the 11th (Cubs scored 1 in the top of the 11th)

Fightins played small ball in the bottom of the 11th

Marsh with the walk-off to win the game (based loaded, Cubs playing 5 infielders and 2 outfielders, March hit a shot to the wall in left center)

With today’s Nola news (rib strain/stress issue, out for another month), it’s gotta be time for Painter. Team really needs a jolt. ASB might be too late.
I worry that Nola has a more serious injury they haven’t yet IDed. These residual pain and chronic set backs often end this way.

It’s a long season. The Nationals were 31-36 after 67 games in 2019, their championship year. The Phillies are 38-29 right now.
They need to get moving on changes. My question is whether all of this team’s weaknesses can be addressed in one season.

Multiple bullpen arms. An outfield bat offering more contact. And those moves all need to pay off for Dombrowski. That’s far from certain.
