No Phillies baseball on deck for tonight, but a split day/night DH now tomorrow:

Way to go Kerkering! He gets a pop out for the 2nd out, and then a called 3rd strike on a 3-2 pitch, so the Fightins remain in the lead, 2-1, heading to the bottom of the 8th.

How are you feeling about Painter’s progress, @RyanSnyder and @MrTailgate ?
On the surface, I’d expect someone with Painter’s velocity to be more swing and miss.
The Pirates have Skenes on the hill that day. Mick better bring his best stuff.
