I dont think PSU is under any obligation to him. I get the sense he is more loyal to Franklin than to PSU, so perhaps there will be a spot for him at VT. His time here is up, thank you Drew, and good luck.A lengthy but interesting read regarding the Patterson vs. NCAA lawsuit.

Agree. He’s from Columbus. Hopefully, he plays with a big chip on his shoulder for not being recruited by OSU. I really hope he exceeds expectations, but he isn’t rated very high at all among players in OH or his position. After seeing many misses with 4/5 star guys, I’ll take 6’7 300

Bottom line is that Campbell needed to make these recruiting moves because of inheriting a program without a 2026 recruiting class. I hope these guys all contribute and exceed expectations. I’ll be rooting for them all because they chose to come to PSU and are excited about it. Campbell will, however, need to have blue chip recruits in the recruiting classes going forward if he expects to compete in the B1G.Great size and was a TE so he moves well and has decent hands. I like the pick up. I know many poo poo the bringing in of ISU recruits but with the amount of high end misses recently and the need for a lot of portal players, these have been solid guys to bring with coach
27 will need to be a great class for sure and they are in on a lot of big time kidsBottom line is that Campbell needed to make these recruiting moves because of inheriting a program without a 2026 recruiting class. Don't overlook this kid, we have a Texas gunslinger at QB similar to Brett Favre. Get some good weight on this kid and he's a solid contributor.I can see why Campbell likes this kid.

In Football and Hog Hunting, Patience Pays: The Rise of Kase Evans
Lexington QB Kase Evans went from overlooked to Oklahoma State commit thanks to years of patience, hard work—and lessons learned during long, quiet nights hog hunting in Central Texas.www.texasfootball.com
Coach Duda retired, not sure if that will have an impact but I would think so.Did something happen to the Lackawanna to PSU recruiting pipeline or haven't there been any decent LJC players?

Kid says all the right things. Here is an interview he did on Small Town Ball.Looks like he moves with a purpose and arrives with bad intentions. Works for me!
Are you sure your handle isn't @Nitpicker ? How do you know we're accepting "lower level assistants"? And Campbell didn't coach in the NFL? Oh, my! I'll never forgive him for that. Patience, my man, patience.Campbell might turn out to be one of the best coaches ever. Time will tell.
Some things are scary though:
- We're trading in the highest paid assistant coaches with experience at places like Kansas & OSU for much lower paid and less sought after assistant coaches from Iowa State. Were we getting screwed or are we accepting lower level assistants?
- One of the things I didn't like about OBrien was that he didn't want to be here. He just used us as a stepping stone to an NFK HC position. On the other hand Campbell seems elated to be at a big time university like PSU and IMO that's a big plus. The problem is he can't say he coached in the NFL or that he coached Tom Brady. Campbell can talk about Purdy but he can't boast about coaching very many players to the NFL. His absolute awe of the All American plaques is heartwarming but it shows that he's never been to this level. Is his reputation strong enough to bring in the players we need? So far we got a safety that was ranked 905 nationally.
