Ben taking recruits from Gonzaga and Purdue.. love to see it

I can't wait to see him coaching against Painter. When we played Purdue at Mackey, we all knew we had no chance. With Ben? I think there's always gonna be a chance.

Grassroots Film Room: Ethan Harris

A versatile 4 star wing in the class of 2026 who does a bit of everything when he is on the floor, Ethan Harris is an eyebrow raising prospect in terms of his ability to slot into any type of system and contribute.

Offensively, Harris is a multifaceted threat. He stretches the floor well with a consistent and reliable jumper, can create off the dribble for himself in spurts, and is an excellent skip passer who annihilates double teams by spraying out to shooters in the corners.

He also makes his presence felt on the offensive glass, where he is a huge plus flying in from the wing.

Despite Harris’s offensive talent he may be an even better defender. Perfectly comfortable switching 1-4, even handling some 5s, Harris is adept at sliding his feet on the perimeter and knows how to use his size and length to his advantage against smaller and quicker players. Harris also has great helpside instincts, nailing the timing on when to rotate over, and his block rate is high because of it.

Overall, Harris is a player who can help a team in a variety of ways, and is someone I can see contributing right away at the next level in one way or another.

Game Details:
Vs. Tennessee Travelers (7/12/25)
17p (8-15 FG, 1-4 3FG, 0-1 FT), 10r, 2a, 4to, 3s, 2b

Looks like he can dunk like Aaron but better outside shot?
Funny or sad actually, White found his outside shot the last few games of his career. Still was a great place, one of the fastest ever to get up on dunks

Ethan looks like he has a quick, very smooth stroke from 3.

Aaron had 61 made threes in his 4 year Iowa career.

Iowa Career Scoring List:

1 Luka Garza...2,306 (4 yrs: 2018-2021, 127 GP, .546 FG%, 18.2 ppg; 120 three pt goals)

2 Roy Marble...2,116 (4 yrs: 1986-1989, 134 GP, .539 FG%, 15.8 ppg; 26 three pt goals)

3 Jordan Bohannon...2,033 (5+ yrs: 2017-2019, 10 games in 2020 + 2021 & 2022; 179 GP, .389 FG%, 11.4 ppg; 455 three pt goals)

4 Aaron White...1,859 (4 yrs: 2012-2015, 140 GP, .517 FG%, 13.3 ppg; 61 three pt goals)

5 Acie Earl...1,779 (4 yrs: 1990-1993, 116 GP, .508 FG%, 15.3 ppg; 2 three pt goals)

6 Greg Stokes...1,768 (4 yrs: 1982-1985, 120 GP, .545 FG%, 14.7 ppg)

7 BJ Armstrong...1,705 (4 yrs: 1986-1989, 130 GP, .492 FG%, 13.1 ppg; 136 three pt goals)

8 Roy Devyn Marble...1,694 (4 yrs: 2011-2014; 136 GP, .415 FG%, 12.5 ppg; 134 three pt goals)

9 Ronnie Lester...1,675 (4 yrs: 1977-1980, 99 GP, .471 FG%, 16.9 ppg)

10 Matt Gatens...1,635 (4 yrs: 2009-2012; 128 GP, .415 FG%, 12.8 ppg; 239 three pt goals)

My summer job during college was working in the 100 degree heat on the huge steam rollers in a paper mill, but I still find this amusing:
Ethan Harris plays for the Camas High School Papermakers.
The Mighty Papermakers! Wow, doesn't exactly strike fear into the hearts of opponents...
I wondered what their mascot looks like and found this on the internet -did minimal searching so not sure how accurate this is:

Anyway, welcome Ethan!

Getting Coleman and Hartman would give us team combining with the fresmen that are already here.

If memory serves me and it usually don’t Minny signed a player and so did Michigan that are both equal to Hartman. But our backcourt next year graduates both starters just saying plus we have BEN HUR kapech!

I think BMc will have to dip into the portal for key pieces until he gets things going.
Way too early to tell IMO. We have Tate Sage coming up at the off guard position and in the backcourt replacing Stirtz seems the biggest priority. Ben went after big fish early in the game and no doubt the staff has a good number of other guard prospects they feel they have a shot at. He wants to build by developing talent so I expect the emphasis to continue on recruiting high school talent first.

Tate will be a “3”. Well most definitely hit the portal
