Did Joe forget he wrestled in the big 10that guy got CRUSHED
The other conferences should just be thankful that Penn State can’t enter their back-ups.that guy got CRUSHED
Probably no. He is much more aware where he is now and the fact his bread is not getting buttered. Had he been coaching in the B1G, the crickets would be deafening. Boy did he get hammered.Did Joe forget he wrestled in the big 10![]()
And Princeton got 3 at large and the big 10 had 7 total. Joe was lost on this oneProbably no. He is much more aware where he is now and the fact his bread is not getting buttered. Had he been coaching in the B1G, the crickets would be deafening. Boy did he get hammered.
Ryder has one arm and can’t do anything and took inj time 2-3 times every match at big 12s if SCW can’t beat him now he doesn’t deserve his seedDang, can’t believe Ryder got the #22 seed… I believe he beaten SCW in the past.. not ideal first matchup.
Ah ok didn’t know he was inj.. guess that explains his record… if he somehow does fully heal before nationals though that’s going to be a really tough out. I agree, hopefully SCW can beat him bc the #6 seed ,Eddie Neitenbach, looks beatable indeed.Ryder has one arm and can’t do anything and took inj time 2-3 times every match at big 12s if SCW can’t beat him now he doesn’t deserve his seed
If Shawver and Brown both lose their first match they will meet in the cons… eternal rivals..Shawver Byrd 1st round is brutal, state finals rematch. They did the same at 184 with Soldano vs Dean
He’s not healing without surgery and honestly he couldn’t score all year with 2 healthy shouldersAh ok didn’t know he was inj.. guess that explains his record… if he somehow does fully heal before nationals though that’s going to be a really tough out. Cruel elimination match. If Shawver and Brown both lose their first match they will meet in the cons… eternal rivals..
How is Brown even seeded higher than Shawver after two losses last weekend?Cruel elimination match.
Yeah I don’t understand that oneHow is Brown even seeded higher than Shawver after two losses last weekend?
I disagree. I think most of our guys despite being lower seeds have winnable first round matches and are in decent position to advance in consolations. We did not fare well with most of our seeds were in the 20’s
? What did you expect, top 15?We did not fare well with most of our seeds were in the 20’s
They fully earned their seeds. We did not fare well with most of our seeds were in the 20’s
Don’t think previous year criteria is a thing. Try checking their actual wins and losses. Shawver took some bad losses to unranked guys and maybe Brown had some better wins over ranked guys this year. He was ranked higher then Shawver overall before Shawver’s wins over him so that could be why Brown ended up with the higher seed is my suspicion.Yeah I don’t understand that one
Shawver finished higher in the big 10 tournament, went 8-7 in conference bouts while Brown went 4-7, and Shawver has the 2-1 head to head advantage.
If previous year criteria is a thing, Shawver has also finished higher than Brown in every national tournament including beating Brown at nationals last year.
Ayden is an underdog to Renteria(9). And Peterson is a pretty big fav over Nebraska kid (25). Yeah, if Ayden won good chance him and Peterson meet round 2… now that would be interesting. There is a potential for Peterson and Ayden to meet in 2nd round. They are both underdogs on paper.
It seems like there has been a Renteria wrestling forever.
Check out Ryder’s injuries and what he did in the Big 12 Tourney. SCW is on a good position. Like his seed.Shawver, SCW, Catka have very tough first rounds.Cotton, Olivieri, Clark and Pinto are in good positions first round.Smith and Barbosa, are 50/50
