What a match. Joe has shown that last year he was obviously not his true self. I’m glad he is shining when he’s getting on the mat.157 Final: Joe Sealey vs. Daniel Zepeda (NCST)

Stroke of genius having Penn State as its feeder program.Utah Valley going to get a pretty good one in Connor Pierce next season. Lol
That and he is actually finishing matches now.Agreed. 10-1 > 0-2
It's just youIs it me or are PSU's backups more fun to watch than the starters?
Some things never get old. This isn’t one of them. Give it a rest. Permanently. How about Carton and Pletcher?
I had the radio guys from the area . I do think Dick Hammer did do some PCN Cable at States. Maybe mat reporter???You might be thinking of Larry Sheridan and Shel Sigel. They were legends. https://nwhof.org/national-wrestling-hall-of-fame/bio/1417
One of those crusty old men was Marv Wilenzik. Jordan Leen (Cornell NCAA Champ) is the Marvin Wilenzik '56 Head Coaching Chair for Brown Wrestling.I only ever heard that term from the crusty old Lehigh Valley announcers who covered PA states for PCN in the 1980s.
Which is hilarious since the Lehigh Valley is the source of the "cement series" move terms.
yea, when I was riding and lifted the arm over my head and attacked the head.... sort of same thing but not from neutralWhen I was wrestling in high school, I used what I now call a cow catcher. When I was wrestling, we referred to it as a bar and chancery, which I never hear anymore.
It is taken from a thread on the Iowa board where a poster called it Soldier Solute. Never miss a chance to poke at the Hawks.Brief fun note. Ia board went the whole week with a thread on the soldier solute. Perhaps intentional, perhaps not. But… solute? As in, a thing that dissolves?
Wow! The 2 big Holiday Tourney winners, get to face off next week! PSU (Scuffle) and Rutgers (Midlands). Could be a tight one!Locked up the team title.
We had'um all the way!!Locked up the team title.
On offense, that super duck came like lightening.Super fun match! Congrats Joe Sealey!
He’s no Duke or Kasak but he’s super good.
And just to be fair we will only wrestle one guy from the tournament championship team!Wow! The 2 big Holiday Tourney winners, get to face off next week! PSU (Scuffle) and Rutgers (Midlands). Could be a tight one!
I’m actually relieved to hear thatIt is taken from a thread on the Iowa board where a poster called it Soldier Solute. Never miss a chance to poke at the Hawks.
I see we even sent our backup trainer.![]()
There's a glitch in the matrixIs this the match that breaks @SlipperyPete
Coming soon: Tan Tom throws 2 bricks from one corner.Period 3:
Cunningham takes down. He rolls & gets a reversal, 10-9. Cunningham throws in a boot. Cunningham tries to locks up a cradle, but no luck. Cunningham gets 2 swipes, but the score is only 11-9. I think it should be 12-9 Cunningham. Both corners throw a brick.
I’m awaiting Tom’s referee critiqueIs this the match that breaks @SlipperyPete
