What a match. Joe has shown that last year he was obviously not his true self. I’m glad he is shining when he’s getting on the mat.

I only ever heard that term from the crusty old Lehigh Valley announcers who covered PA states for PCN in the 1980s.

Which is hilarious since the Lehigh Valley is the source of the "cement series" move terms.
One of those crusty old men was Marv Wilenzik. Jordan Leen (Cornell NCAA Champ) is the Marvin Wilenzik '56 Head Coaching Chair for Brown Wrestling.

Brown will not pass Penn State in points at the Scuffle if my math is correct.

When I was wrestling in high school, I used what I now call a cow catcher. When I was wrestling, we referred to it as a bar and chancery, which I never hear anymore.
yea, when I was riding and lifted the arm over my head and attacked the head.... sort of same thing but not from neutral

Period 1:
Here we go again! Hand fighting & tying up. Campos taps at the head & Cunningham gets a bloody nose. Blood stoppage. Back to action. Circling with Cunningham trying to tie up. Cunningham presses forward. Campos shoots a double & gets the TD, 3-0. Cunningham comes over the top, then works behind for the reversal, 3-2. Cunningham almost locks up a cradle. Stoppage & restart. Campos is still down. He works to his feet, but only for a moment. Campos stands again, but Cunningham brings him back down. Campos keeps working & gets the escape, 4-2. Stalemate & restart. Circling & hand fighting briefly. Campos is maintaining space. Cunningham ties up. Campos dives in on another double. Cunningham gets to a leg too. Campos finishes another TD, 7-2. Campos works to a quadpod, but Cunningham has both boots in. Cunningham brings Campos back to the mat. Stoppage for potentially dangerous. Campos' corner throws the brick. Challenge lost. The score stays 7-7. Cunningham gets a stall call. Campos tries to come up, but Cunningham stays with him & goes over 1-min riding time. Stalemate & restart. Campos is still down, 32-sec left. Campos works to his feet, but Cunningham takes him back down. Campos splits the legs & gets a reversal. Cunningham gets to his feet & gets an escape, 9-8. Cunningham takes down. He rolls & gets a reversal, 10-9. Cunningham throws in a boot. Cunningham tries to locks up a cradle, but no luck. Cunningham gets 2 swipes, but the score is only changed to 11-9. I think it should be 12-9 Cunningham. Both corners throw a brick. I'm not sure what the challenge is. Casey doesn't look happy. The scoreboard operators didn't add Asher's escape point at the end of the 2nd. Casey is complaining about that, but there's more going on too.

Long review. I'm not sure what happened, but the score stays 11-9 Cunningham. Campos starts down. Cunningham has RT locked up. Campos works to a quadpod, then rolls, but Cunningham stays with him & then looks for a turn. Campos is working for a reversal, but can't get it & time expires. Cunningham adds a RT point, 12-9. Lots of time stoppage in that match. Great job Asher!

Asher Cunningham DEC Caleb Campos 12-9 (Should be 13-9 according to Dake & me too!)

Asher Cunningham takes 1st Place!
