I hate excuse making, but, I'm pretty sure Henckel is not 100%. That kid he wrestled came in 1-7 with mostly bonus point losses. It's good to see him battling through whatever he's dealing with, but, he's not wrestling like he usually does.
I hate making excuses but I’m going to make one because our guy isn’t winning by big enough margins.
Hope you PSU fans remember all the excuses you are making for your guys when another fan bases does the same for their guys

285 R32: Lucas Cochran vs. George Hopkins (PRES)

Period 1:
Tying up & hand fighting. Hopkins quickly looses his ankle band. Cochran drives forward & takes Hopkins to the edge. Hopkins circles back to center. Cochran with some snaps. He hits a throwby, gets rear standing, then brings Hopkins to the mat for the TD, 3-0. Cochran has a turn locked up & adds 2 NF, 5-0. He hits a tight waist tilt & adds 4 NF more, 9-0. Cochran hits another tilt & adds 4 NF more, 13-0. He goes over 1-min riding time too. Cochran hits one more tilt for 2 NF more & the quick 15-0 Tech!

Lucas Cochran TECH George Hopkins 15-0 (2:19)

Kind of like Lord Spencer and his malady of the month (mono, the ague, the vapors, consumption, etc)

Does anyone have the tournament round by round schedule? I looked, but, couldn't find anything.

I already have a mother, thank you.
pretty sure everyone has a mother. some of us just do a better job of listening to good advice than others. you're an adult (I assume) - make your own choices. My point, which I think you may have missed, is that illness this time of year in the northern hemisphere isn't about the "Holidays". That is a contributor, but other factors play a much bigger role.

Way too many people eat like crap (regular sugar overdoses), drink excessive alcohol, and don't get sufficient amount of sunshine. This leads to metabolic issues which make people susceptible to infections.
Let me live my life....
I already have a mother, thank you.

Plus the insinuation of excessive alcohol use on this board is strictly forbidden!!
Aim this at the wrestlers and leave us super fans alone....
There are other fanbases?
yes a few, until Saturday night at Ncaa's then there is an awful lot of silence.

And my point, which you definitely missed, was that I am hilarious.

… hopefully ALL wrestlers are among those who listen to advice!

Recapping the morning session

Penn State sent 13 wrestlers to the Southern Scuffle. Seven are still in the championship bracket. Five are still alive in the consolation bracket. And one Nittany Lion, Aaron Nagao, is done for the day after medically forfeiting his next two matches following a 4-0 win in his opener. That match was his first since November. And, whatever he hurt in the Army Black Knight Invitational -- he wrestled Satuday with a sleeve or brace covering his upper right arm -- is clearly still an issue.

Consolation action is ongoing as of the time of this post at 1:30 p.m. ET. Round of 16 matches for the championship bracket are in a bit.

Can Davis wrestle unattached at the upcoming opens and preserve his shirt? I would think so? Give him a couple of weeks to get on weight and wrestle and see how he looks. Could be a little rusty and should see where he is at before pulling his shirt.

If someone wrestles unattached…does it count for number of matches for tournament qualifications?
