First let me preface. I like Paul Jones and appreciate his work. This post has nothing to do with him. He's great at what he does and is a man of high character and integrity. The posters on 24/7 think you are anti MSU or negative if you speak factual information or the truth about MSU. It just blows my mind. There are posters that want to leave bc a handful, myself included, speak our minds. Some of those guys are the biggest sunshine pumpers in the history of sunshine pumping. Sorry but I don't pump sunshine. I won't piss on your face and tell u it's sweet milk. One poster, DogofAnarchy was sending people crazy msgs on Friday. I received one. I thought it was hilarious. "Those comments are what hurts MSU and if you hurt MSU then you are my 17ing enemy" lol. That's just part of it. I'm not always negative nancy. I just speak what's on my mind. Just bc you speak your mind and don't always agree with things doesn't make you a less fan than anyone else. Hell I went to about 80% of Sly Croom games. I was at the Maine game and the 3-2 Auburn game. I should be given a skybox for a game as compensation lol. But anyway guys Happy Sunday my fellow bulldog brethren.

As a member of that site, I can say that while you are entertaining at times, you do manage to find a negative in absolutely everything good that happens to us. You have earned your reputation that you are trying to disguise as being realistic. "Realism" is fine and dandy, but when something really, really good happens, it's not your job to cut everyone down and remind them of their place. That basically makes you an Ole Miss troll in functionality.
Over the last couple months, the 24/7 boards have become unbearable. Paul's biscuits are the only thing worth reading on the board. My problem with the board are the same 5 people that continuously post/hijack threads with "OM is doing it, why can't we?" or "We are never going to beat Bama recruiting like this". Well no ****. Truth is we are never going to beat Bama consistently and OM has the legal resources to take more chances than us.
I can take negativity as much as anyone, but the constant negative posts get really 17n old. If you are going to rehash the same sob story over and over and over and over again, just start a diary 17n and keep it to yourself.

I ignored a few posters last night after I realized that they had that function, and have enjoyed reading today. I was contemplating leaving the site due to the 5 (or so) posters that you referenced - but won't now due to "ignore". Like you said, the same argument over and over was getting really old and the maggots are already done with the horse in most cases.

I post positive too. I congratulate when we do big things. That's what a msg board is for. People have different viewpoints. Hell it's many posters I get tired of but it doesn't bother me. This is the USA and you are entitled to free speech. I like reading different opinions. Think back when you were a kid and bought the crayola 64 pack with every color. Would you rather have that or a 64 box of the same color? The same people that get upset at posters complaining about our recruiting approach are the same ones screaming "we need more talent" after thrashings from the big boys. My suggestion to you all: build a bridge and get over it bc the WSS isn't going anywhere.
I mainly talk about recruiting. I think I make great points. Everyone gets mad when we get thrashed by the big boys yet worship our diamond in the rough/project style recruiting. Then they wonder why we can't win. It's recruiting man. Especially the online recruiting. When it comes to recruiting I look at a number of factors. Stars but mainly other offers. If your offer sheet is ULL, Troy, UAB then you can't compete with the big boys. For every Jonthan Banks there are numerous Joey Trapps.
I deleted my account about a month ago. Turning into Genes2.0. Too much sunshine on there for my taste. I like Paul the best of all the State recruiting gurus though.

That is why some people sign up for those boards, so they can be told good news, and even the bad news is sugar coated. Luckily Paul isn't like that. He will usually just tell it how it is. There are some funny people on there, and they are fun to watch get wound up. At the same time though WSS, you do post a lot of stuff on there that is just fishing for an argument, which I am fine with. Some of it isactually amusing, but don't act like you don't do that

The only way in hell that happens would be to get Saban or someone like Jim Harbaugh from the NFL, get a bunch of kick *** recruiters and then throw Bracky Brett's body in the Tombigbee River. And then Ole Miss gets a commitment from a three star and all of sudden Dan can't recruit all the while bitching about some three star guy that we got. Yeah- that makes sense.

If you want to speak your mind, come to this site and do it. It's free, and apparently the moderators are big fans of that sort of thing.
