Are you happy with the coverage so far?

Is it fairly active over there?

Would you recommend joining? I haven't heard that much discussed about the site on this board.

Thanks gentlemen. Any input welcome.

and no ******** when it comes to Paul's opinion. There are a few others on the boards that claim inside knowledge. Its easy to make fun of them sometimes but they seem to be right more often than not.

I think the coverage is great, and the traffic has gone up at a decent pace as well. Paul has done a great job with that site in the past year, and I would definitely recommend you joining.

Very happy with the coverage. All info comes straight from athlete, parent, or coach.

Almost as active as the old BDJ was at its peak.

I would recommend joining. Try it for a month. If you like it, join for a year.

One of the nice features is regular columns from Jackie Sherrill and Matt Wyatt.

The free board is also the premium board. Sign up for a free account and watch the traffic flow to see how you like it. It's really increased.I'm paying for membership there and taking advantage of my lifetime membership on BDJ.

I likethe coverage, mainly the recruiting. I joined because I got into recruiting this year, it's worth the money for sure. I also like the interviews with coaches and players about positions, practice, and such. The 24/7 network is also really good for SEC territory. They have a number of good reporters who go to all teh All Star games, camps, etc... I'm not sure it's great nationwide like maybe Rivals or Scout is. But who cares about recruits out West or up in the Northeast.

The coverage is great and the posters seem to be pretty connected. There's a lot more inside information from there than the other sites for sure. Someone was posting what the recruits weighed in at last weekend, which isn't really that important but it does show that some of those guys are pretty close to what's going on.

Go to 247. Plus, the boards are good there. I honestly don't see how Rosebowl and Gene are still in business. I guess once a shepherd always a shepherd?? Hmmm. Anyway, I encourage you to join. Good stuff there.

After he sold Rivals to Yahoo or whoever he created a whole new newtwork. He's from Tenn or Alabama. Ole Miss has a 247sports site, www.olemiss.247sports.com is the address. Seems active at least for recuiting news etc... doesn't seem to have too many members yet though.

I agree with what everyone said here, and I'll add that one the best things about 247 though is the mobile site. It's fast, very easy to use, and looks great.
