RBY beat Darian Cruz 6-2, will wrestle Aruryunyan (who teched Spencer Lee) for bronze later today.
My take on Kyle is that the man is making the leap from 74Kg to 86Kg. That is 26 pounds. He looked comparatively small at the Trials.
I know age is a factor, but let us remember that David Taylor did not have immediate success in his move from 74 to 86.

Maybe the version that is fully grown into 86kg.
Even significantly undersized, Dake came much closer than the rest of the world at taking out Zahid. How long did it take DT to be competitive at 86? 1-2 years?
Can’t we expect Levi at 86 by 2028 as well? I think Zahid might be a bad matchup athletically though …
I still think Zahid’s bones are hollow. What weight will he be when they finally solidify?

And U20 champ McEnelly. I think Zahid’s biggest challenge is going to be domestically. I ton of killers all trying to grab that 86kg spot
O'Toole will also need to pick a weight. Currently 79 kg like Levi. Guessing he drops but who knows in 3 years.
Same with Hamiti, though he appears to be quite behind Zahid in the same room. Also Hamiti going 190 at RAF implies he's never seeing 74 kg again.

Sinclair for sure. He was so close to beating McEnelly for the U20 spot. The Ferrari clan hasn’t been doing much if any freestyle. He definitely has the talent to be in the mix but who knows what that family is going to do
O’Toole should definitely go 74kg if he can make it. Carr, Mesenbrink, and O’Toole battling it out for 74kg will be pretty fun
Unless you are a top donor to the NLWC or are on staff, aren’t you also fantasizing about how other people’s money should be spent?
