Kurugliyev is tough. I was surprised, though, that Connor didn't see that throw coming. As I watched live I saw the danger he was in. I think it is human nature as a wrestler to not want to let go if you have your opponent's leg in the air, especially near the edge of the mat.
Yet another case of just needing to take the 1 pt step-out. Instead, Connor, who had Kuru’s leg elevated on the perimeter, gives up 4 off some standing funk he never saw coming. Instead of living to fight another day up 2-0, he’s down 4-1 just like that.

Stanich vs Nini. Jersey on jersey crime

Stanich with a shot clock point. 1-0

Nini strikes back a td. 2-1 at the break

Nini with a stepout. 3-1

Stanich gets a Td go up on on criteria 3-3

1:00 left. Way closer than expected. Nini super close to scoring late but Stanich fight it off. He’s moving on to the semis

So we have 2 in the semis (Henckel and Stanich) and the other 2 (Knox and Connor) are still alive
Yes. Semis are at 10 a.m. Other two are obviously waiting to see if they get pulled in for repechage.

sheesh. Henckel freaked out after getting put on his back, then did nothing for 3 mins. That was scary.
