I don’t think S. Granville can get the 11th seed, because they're under .500. So more than likely we'll be the 11th seed, and everyone behind us should move up a seed, and S. Granville should be 32nd. I think!!!

I think you’re right. Rule states “1st, 2nd or 3rd in conference, and/or 500 record.”

So that would mean 1st 2nd or 3rd doesn’t matter if your record isn’t 500 correct?

I agree with you…I’ve been confused on this since the beginning…but you are right.

South Granville has another game to play possibly reaching .500.

Split conference with 3A schools — 1-seeds must have an overall win percentage of .500 or better OR finish in the top three in the conference standings to be seeded with the 1-seeds, or else be seeded with the 2s and wild-cards.

They finished top 3 they will be 11

OR is the important word. Meaning you must do one OR the other. So they can be under. 500 just as long as they finish in the top 3 in the conference.

Where is that 3a split rule at I can’t find it in the handbook?

The rule in the handbook says the and or, meaning top 3 would only matter if you are 500. But trasktitan seems to know that if it is a 3a split conference, AND goes out the window and it is only OR

South Granville won the 2A part of its conference. They won’t get the 32nd seed as conference champs I believe

The rule says .500 overall OR top three outright in the final overall conference standings...South Granville is 3rd outright in the final conference standings (and 2A division champion) by virtue of the head to head win over Louisburg

If it said 'and' without the 'or', then SG would have to finish 5-5, but in the past few years in the situation in every sport, teams in SG's situation have been seeded as conference champions

I know they're seeded "correctly" but JK as a 12 seed is criminal to all the higher seeds in that bracket.

Betting Pasquotank to SE Alamance is a 4 hour drive at least with a football team in tow. 👀

Chopper should ride over there…it’ll be his best chance to ever see the Panthers play. 😂

I second this 😀
You love counting your eggs, huh! I know you remember doing the same thing a couple of years ago. You were acting the same way, and saying the same stuff. Stop counting your eggs, and give them a chance to hatch. I promise you, you'll be much happier.

Kind of hard not to be excited when we just witnessed the supposedly #1 team in the east play in Teachey. JK doesn’t want any part of Northeastern. I wish there were more posters from our area because they would say the same thing. Wrh has been mediocre at best this season and controlled that game from start to finish. The east may be down as another poster just stated but one things for sure, Northeastern isn’t part of that conversation because we’re better than we have been in many years.

Goob you should know, and understand, you stated that Wallace controlled the game from start to finish, and we only lost by three. And that's the worst game that we have played all season. So your Eagles isn't invisible, and could have a bad game in their path. And good thing about it for us is it happened before the playoffs, so we get to play again. But if your Eagles has a bad game, it's no tomorrow! I was thinking the same thing about JK, that you're thinking about your Eagles before we lost.

Jk played bad against Kinston, I watched the entire game. Our kids and coaches are focused and set on one thing. That thing is securing our first state championship since 69. We are good enough this season that even if we have an off night we can still win. I don’t see us having an off night. We all see it here, this is something special we have here in Elizabeth City.

Because JK is currently ranked the #2 team in the east. Regardless of what you think of them. And now, Martin county who has earned the 5 seed, has to play the #2 team in the second round, when it should be the #12 team. It is screwed how they seed it.

😆 🤣 dude JK held Kinston to about 160 yards, and we dominated them on offense. I keep telling you that something is wrong with your eyes, and you need to get them checked. And I told you that I was thinking the same thing about us. 😆 🤣 bruh you were saying the same thing a couple of seasons ago, and Wallace went down there and broke 💔 your heart. And you're setting yourself up to be heartbroken again. I don't understand why you keep doing this to yourself!

Idk who said that JK was the #1 team in the east. Seems like everyone has said it's NE, from day 1. But I do know that every year, NE and the Dallas Cowboys are "better than they've been in many years." But listen, they SHOULD cruise to the championship, as long as Reidsville stays west. Anything less would be a travesty.

Well the RPI clearly stated that. I would have to say NE has nothing to be ashamed of over the past years. Eagles 🦅 have held their own and went toe to toe with the best teams in all of 2a including 3 state championship appearances since 2010. Last season we were a year away and most everyone knew that. I was actually surprised we made the eastern final tbh. I felt like the winner of SWE/Whiteville would most likely be playing Clinton. We were fortunate to pull out a hard fought win against a good Wolfpack team. Just for the record, NE will not be as good next season. Make sure you remembered that I stated this. We will not be as good in 2025.

Good, because I feel like the tigers will only be better even though we lose a couple key pieces, most return and lots of talent coming up. Maybe we can compete with the mighty NE eagles next year 😂

I know everyone over our way feels the same way. If we make it to Chapel Hill those teams out west are really good. Whoever comes out on top in the west will be battle tested. They will definitely be favored over any eastern team
How was that rally in Ktown
