@Hampton Roads 6 my Lions love to run the ball, but I think even you would've liked the 382 yards rushing and 118 yards passing display they put on tonight.

I somewhat agree and not trying to argue but passing the ball 10 teams wouldn't strike me as being balanced. Phoebus when they were in their juggernaut passed it enough, I consider passing it enough and being balanced as two completely separate things. Riverheads passes it just enough but you wouldn't consider them balanced. We agree to disagree, that is the great thing about these boards both of our opinions are right because that is what we believe.

My definition of balanced isn't necessarily how much you pass vs. run, but how successful you are at both. So even if a team rushes 40+ times and only passes 10 times in a game, if those passes go for 150+ yards and a TD or two, and they have the ability to do that consistently if they want to, I consider that being balanced.

Or do you just think that anything with four- and five-receivers is "spread"

I would like to see a ten yard penalty for every five yard pass thrown more than three times in a game. Hate it!!!

I would like to see a 5 yard penalty every time a QB lines up under the center. All QBs should be in shot-gun.
