2A State Championship Northeastern/Reidsville

It was a thriller a year ago ... expect more of the same ... Reidsville playing in state championship game fourth straight year.
Congrats to both to getting to the big game yet again....

Congrats and good luck to Northeastern! The key to slowing down Reidsville is to turn the sprinklers on and water the field down a few days before the game...
What I saw was from the official NCHSAA Twitter feed. Said game times would be set today. I really hope we get the late game

The Twitter feed didn't come out until late last night. It may stay the same but as of around midnight the times were not set. Says same thing for each other division
Scroll down game times are 11 and 3. It’s been posted for weeks, 2A game is at 11 and 2AA is at 3.
They changed it last night and haven't updated the website. They haven't said they're going to change just that times tbd today. Not trying to argue but look at the Twitter feed

Great game last year and expect nothing less this year. What's the big difference in NE this year vs last year. I know we're down 1 Canada and Rankin; and you guys are minus 1 Freshwater, fantastic young man by the way.
Pass and Pinnix have continued to mature and get better. Lionel Long has become a great running back. 14 TDs in post season. He was 23 yds from breaking single game record last night. Coach pulled him. Reidsville D is still very good especially since our loss to East Surry
this is a running joke....Reidsville has not been shutout in a game since 1997 (1st round of playoffs)........323 games ago...........................

I plead the fifth
Newton Conover, Brevard and West Stokes all scored first against Reidsville.
I would think that if the NCHSAA considers travel, they would put Salisbury and Shelby in the first game since they are relatively close to Winston-Salem. But if Northeastern is traveling Friday and spending night, maybe it would be better for them to play the early game. Elizabeth City to Winston-Salem is more than 4 hours.
They really should play this game whenever Northeastern chooses. If they have to play at 11am then NE will have to stay overnight Friday. Otherwise they would have to leave Elizabeth City about 4 am and then stop on the way and eat before going to the stadium. Entirely unfair to Northeastern.
