I'll admit, this is the kind of game that got Bo fired. I'm not there yet with riley, but that's because this is the first time I've seen him get shelled in a 50-50 game.
Riley isn't going to get fired, but some of his coaches should. Again, getting beat by Iowa isn't the end of the world, but getting blown out by them is a disaster and Riley, in the end, has to answer for it. We'll see what he does in the off season.

Hire Charlie Strong as defensive coordinator. If we're paying Bruce Read half a mill, I'd give Charlie a million.

Yep. Burn it down. one loss means burn it down
Losing last year to Purdue is more than enough reason. But, "its his first year, waaa waa waaa, sniffle sniffle." Fine, i get it. But this is inexcusable. IoWa 2 years in a row, this one a blow out!!!!! IoWa shouldn't even smell our jocks, and they are looking like a top 5 team against us. B.U.R.N.I.T.D.O.W.N

9-3, best win over????wyoming.
Until we have a coach who believes in bringing in the best coaches, not his friends, NU will never matter.

Eichorst stated very plainly that who we beat and the type and manner of the losses was the main reason Pelini was fired.
Eichorst should be nervous, this is Groundhog Year all over-

I don;t think anyone should be fired beyond Bruce Read. Iowa has still had just 3 plays this game that have actually done anything. They just REALLY hurt. That's not coaching. It's not executing and a lack of talent.

Bruce Read should be fired because special teams have been an absolute disaster two years in a row beyond Drew Brown and Sam Foltz.

I hate to say it, but this is a poorly coached team. Our offensive line has some pretty decent athletes on it. So why can they not block for ****? Our linebackers are fast and athletic, but Banker or Bray have them playing way out of position taking bad angles. And our new rugby style tackling looks more like flag football tackling. Special teams?? Hahahahaha!!!! Snort. Hahahaha!!!! F$ck.

I have supported Riley all year. But guess what? Pelini is gone and has been for two years now. We have enough talent across the board that with proper coaching we should not be getting blown out by Iowa. OSU I could swallow hard and accept. But this?

It's really interesting to hear that our Captain in Tommy isn't even talking to the receivers when they're on the sidelines. I wonder if Ryker playing pretty well last week started a rift with this team when it comes to Tommy and the receivers.

Iowa's had a ton of injuries this year. And they lost Kulick and Bazata during the 1st quarter today.

What are you drinking? The players are doing that to themselves over pursuing and our O line is NOT very athletic other than Gates.
