Honestly, Dayton has lost its stigma. Good exposure for RU if they win.
Dayton is a kiddie tournament and for those that failed to make the real portion of the NCAA tournament.

Woo hoo. Our team would be more tired than 95% of the other teams that made the actual tournament. So exciting.

Well we played like dog crap for most of the last quarter of the season. We have very little kick coming. Hopefully we sneak into the main field.

In our latest Bubble Report (through March 9). PLAYED THEIR WAY IN: Penn State, Mississippi St. and Rutgers. PLAYED THEIR WAY OUT: Nevada, North Carolina and Michigan. TOO CLOSE TO CALL: Pittsburgh, Utah State, Arizona St., Oklahoma St. and Clemson (five teams for three spots). LURKING: Oregon and Vanderbilt.

What would be more exciting is if you stop posting for the next few weeks. On that we can all agree.
Maybe if we got our **** together for the HS team known as Minnesota we would have an actual chance at a real seed.

But hey, I'm happy they were able to do the literal bare minimum to scrape by.

Think enough teams lost that we aren’t in the First Four.

ASU
PITT
OK ST
Nevada

Clemson
NC State
Providence
Penn State
Miss State

For us to be in the bottom four, you are saying only 3 schools in this list are below us and all the rest are above us. I don’t see it. Think we’re safely in even with a loss today

overall their resume is better

I understand where you are coming from, but it’s debatable. Our losses are worse than theirs but our NET 38 is substantially better than their NET 54 and in this case it’s not a computer anomaly. They were taken to the woodshed twice - including once at the RAC.

This could matter and is another reason it’s so important that we play a solid game today. Keeping that NET in the 30s could go a long way towards avoiding the play in game - win or lose. I do agree that if we lose and they beat NW they will be solidly ahead of us.

The way I see it, we also get what amounts to a half game in the win column 19.5 wins in tie breaker situations as the OSU call is going to be factored into the equation.

Does State Penn have as many quality wins (quad 1 &2)?

And can we stop this inferiority thing that lives in the DNA of 90% of the posters on here. 🤬

Penn State 14-12 in Q1/2/3

RU not even 500 which is a big no no at 12-13

Jerry Palm has RU in its last 4 in now...what a clown
He didn't even have us in the next 4 out before the Michigan game. Now after the win, he bumps us all the way to in? He's is covering himself. His bias would have stood out with a vast majority of forecasts showing us in while he still has us far from the bubble

PSU gets lucky with a much easier opponent today than us also. Either way I think we will both be in regardless of what happens today
