he has RU in the first four games which isnt really unreasonable right now. RU is definitely in the last 6, it could go either on last 4.

Did Clemson play a weak schedule?
Both Clemson and VaTech beat Penn State.

We lost to Miami but beat Wake.
Wake and VaTech have the same record and split their two meetings.
Plus the Rutgers/PSU head-to-head
We have some bad losses.
But we are 4-3 vs. the top four seeds in our conference.
Just don't see us behind Penn State.
If so they penalize you for "bad" losses more than raise you for good wins

bracket had Penn St in Albany directly
no way they should be ahead of us

This is a result of the fact that the Committee places more value on bad losses than good wins. I don't agree with that metric, but that is why RU is getting punished again, just like last year. We have more Quad 3 losses (2-4 in Quad 3 games) than most Tournament teams. PSU has one. PSU also has 6 Quad 1 wins to our 5. Our 5-6 Quad 1 record does put us just into the top-25 teams for Quad 1 victories.

Joe was the top flack at St Joe’s for 30 years, now has a position in marketing and ‘broadcast services’ there.

I have no doubt that he enjoys the rabid critiques of his moving brackets (and resulting clicks), but he and the other ‘bracketologists’ really are in a competition amongst themselves to see who gets it the ‘most right’.

And “right” means predicting what the committee will do - not necessarily coming up with a fair, just or platonic ideal of a bracket.
