Got to be on the list. I'd probably throw in Jerry Clower as #3. Kind of an elder statesman list.

As an Architect I really like Janet Marie Smith but probably not in the top 3. If it were sports related only absolutely in the top 3. </p>

is Howell the only state alum inducted into a professional sports Hall of Fame?

Did I hear from somebody that the President/Prime Minister of Costa Rico was a state alum, or did I make that up?</p>

As far as I know, they're the only two. As much as I like Jackie Parker (I've said several times that he & D.D. Lewis should be the only ones to have permanently retired numbers since they're the only two MSU players in the College Football Hall of Fame), I think Naismith trumps Canada.

Edited to add Van Chancellor. While he wasn't an athlete at MSU, he is in the Naismith Hall of Fame.1

back in the 60s and 70s they (sometime duringevery game) would page "Mary Tyler Moore, please meet your party at Gate #4" or "Press Box" or whatever at the Football games on Campus. always a hoot. Urban myth grew over timethat she was an alumni of MSU.

I guess you had to be there...

Put is address in the Google Earth search bar. Zoom into the street level view and scroll around to the right. Standing in the side yard you will see Denmark'sbiggest Statefan. I think same thing works in Google Maps.

a Danish student at MSU grew up there and that is his Dad wearing the T-shirt he sent him. He then looked at his home on Google and saw Dad with the shirt on and showed it to his friend who has the Six Pack Speak ID of re1297id.

Considering what a good guy he is, and the fact that he is the 9th highest paid CEO in the land, I figured he would get a little more notoriety amongst you dawg fans.
