Why did you move Eastern Randolph to the west?

I thought only big cities had longitudes…. And here you have tried to pass Eastern Randolph as podunk. 🤔
See I thought longitudes were those things Uncle Jed wore to bed…
That’s the second Beverly Hillbillies reference I’ve made recently…
Hmmm…
Podunk?
Ain’t that cousin Ned’s second cousin on his momma’s side???

Always enjoy your remarks…
Just so you know I been married for 39 years to the same woman so…
Unloved ain’t a foreign concept…

Get you another one and post from Utah
Chopper, he said he enjoyed my remarks, not your, mine! speaking of your remarks, gotta say, the “Bruised Ego Bowl”, was a classic. LOL. You’re almost as warped as me.

You may be right, but Western football is just different. They probably hoping to get back over on the other side. Shelby nor Lincolnton is an easy out. East likes to be the underdog (ask Reidsville) . E. Randolph won’t have a cake walk if they stay in the West.

Ask reidsville what ?

Honestly don’t think “they” actually care which side they’re on…
Went west for many years. Ask around there big guy, Eastern Randolph kinda already plays “western” style football. Been east quite often before last realignment…
Got to be in it to win it, no matter which side.
No one said or thinks playoffs are ever a cake walk.
Besides ER probably ain’t that good anyway…

Looks like a Shelby/Lincolnton rematch. How far can east Rutherford make it?
Considering the brackets that GrizzlyDevil has us in, Shelby and Lincolnton are on the same side of the four brackets, but for the Wolves and Golden Lions to play again, we’d have to get out of the first bracket, and that’s not going to be easy. For them, Mt. Airy and maybe others would have something to say about that, too.

On East Rutherford, yes, they’ll could do well, but they too are on a side of the bracket with what looks like quite a few tough teams. They made a believer out of me, last season, at Reidsville, when they went up there and beat them with their running game.

Side Note: wish you could have seen the first regular season Shelby at Lincolnton game. They went at each other really hard, and we both had banged-up players afterwards.

If longitude plays into it (which it does) and the geographic center of North Carolina was the boundary (which it’s does not, for seeding purposes)seems like it would be easy to determine; but that’s a problem, too. From what I read, today, the geographic center is in dispute…The geographic center according to one source is near a place in Chatham County, called “Gulf.”
The other claimant is a location in Montgomery County called “Star.”
Which was marked by the Army Corps of Engineers, probably a long time ago.

Looking at both locations on a map of NC counties, Ramseur, NC, and the home of The Eastern Randolph Wildcats, looks to be west of the Chatham County location, but east of the Montgomery County location…After checking the longitude of all three, Ramseur is west of both, meaning, Eastern is western, and Rams10, is right by saying they’re on the left side (meaning western)of the state (As some down east call it).

Side Note: TheKidd, not sure if the dispute is to take you in or give you away. We’ll all know Sunday.
