No, it would be insane for us to retain a coach who is 0-16 in the SEC. Nobody in the conference would do that. Nobody in the world would blame us.
One of the worst ever. If we fire him this year I won’t live to see us have a decent team again. I hope I’ve got 20 years or so left.
In fairness, i thought he clearly caught it.
Yeah. Even Croom and Arnett got two P5 wins and at least one SEC win each in freaking year 1. Just can’t go 1-17 in P4 games and ofer in the SEC in 2 years in the same period when even Vandy is taking down the likes of Bama and LSU.
I've said it we need a Mike Lea type coach, he manages the game, let's his coordinators do their job, loves the school he coaches at and isn't looking for next best thing. We've hired too many coordinators who want to get head coach pay to still call plays.
Its never a good year for MSU to look for a coach, but we still have to do it sometimes.
We’re not ever landing a proven hot commodity HC on his way up the ladder, so its really irrelevant how many other jobs are open.
If you get your way we might as well shut down football. We absolutely WOULD be blamed in coaching circles for firing our last three non-dead coaches after two, one, and two years. Not even blue bloods do THAT. I won’t bother to pay attention to your football opinions any longer. One more thing, we ARE improved this year. We were just SO far down.
Why? What does Franklin run offensively that would give us underdogs a chance? He’s just schematically no different than everyone else. Which means not good for us here. We have to be different.
I wonder why this Gomer Pyle crew would be for Florida so much? I mean they aren’t playing for anything. It makes you wonder if they get intimidated by the opposing team’s crowd. This lead official has been hating us since as long as I can remember.
He runs that system that had ******* Vanderbilt finishing over .500 in SEC play. Sit down.
Finally. Garbage time offensive stats in coming. They’ve been harder to come by this year because our defense is better. Garbage time starting later in game than last year.
And knowing this, we should be putting all the money on teams to cover the spread against us and let the sports books question the league on why they ruled a field goal no good.
