As soon as Mario Goodrich gets the okay from his father, he intends to commit to Nebraska.

Not sure that they will... but I guess I took your comment to mean last year's class was disappointing.
What's wrong with guys like Lindsey, Blades, Roberts, mcquitty, and the like? We sure as hell better finish higher makes it seem like last year sucked.
Maybe I'm mistaken, but it seems as if you are one of the ones consistently complaining about these coaches... if wrong, I apologize.
First it's impossible to not like Riley.
IMO the defensive side has a very good set of coaches. On the offensive side it's kind of an unproven bunch. TA has been a lightening rod for anything that goes wrong and from here on out it's on the coaches.
Relative to recruiting I don't think last years class matched the hype nor the dollars invested in recruiting. On the bright side Riley isn't afraid to turn evaluation and logistics over to non-coaches and uses his big dollar guys to sell the program up close and personal.
He got a OU offer today but it sounds like it wont matter. Talked to his dad and coach. Hopefully public N soon.

Sounds like a close friend of his passed away yesterday, which is delaying his commitment (as it would anyone). Prayers to him and the family of his friend.
It sounds to me like he may have meant keeping the commits. Last year far to many silents flipped and that killed our momentum. That also helped for this year as 2017 we wanted about 25 signees and ended with just 20. This left 5 and is the only reason for us trying to sign 15 in this class.
Could you imagine only signing 10 kids in one class?
