4AA West: #4 West Forsyth @ #2 Page

Page should take this one, especially if Leake is healthy. WF has a few good athletes but a well coached team like Page will find the soft spots and exploit them. Page 34-17
I like the way Page mixes it up, running with Leake and the passing with Will. West Forsyth is a year away, this is great experience for a team with 19 starting underclassmen. Keep an eye on West Forsyth sophomore McMillion & junior KJ Henry. They can go to any school In D-1 I'm so glad coach Snow plays them both ways & Special Teams.
I will be honest I don't know how West made it this far. Saw them play 2 games (Davie and Reagan). Those "super stars" didn't do anything against Davie, and well Raegan this year couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

Most people didn't give them a chance against Lake Norman, handle them pretty handily. Page is certainly a stronger team, but hey that's why they play the games.
Not sure why Davie needs to show up against Dudley based off earlier meeting. But that's why they play the game.

I was just making a comparison of why to plays games, thought Davie/Dudley game was a great example.
Just saw that Maxpreps has updated the rankings in 4A/4AA and Page is number #1 followed by Butler but these rankings mean absolutely nothing right now, it will be decided on the field. Catholic moves up 5 spots.

I honestly thought they could beat Lake Norman. Lake Norman did not play in a tough conference and I felt was rather overrated. I felt either that game or vs Page would be their demise.
Last time Page and W Forsyth played was a first round playoff game in 2010, Page with then Jr QB Summers and Co took care of West 33-10 before losing to eventual 4AA State Champs Butler in the 2nd round. Ofc in 2011 Page ended up winning the revenge rematch against Butler en route to the 4AA title.
6 years later and a match up with W Forsyth sets up a possible classic west final with Butler... or a strong Vance squad.

Who's most people? West beating Lake Norman didn't surprise anyone I know.
LN had a gaudy record, but they also played six (6!) 3A schools to get there. They had no business whatsoever being a #1 seed.
Actually Smith came in after starting QB Latham broke his hand against Reynolds. They had won 2 other games after Davie (Mt Tabor and Reagan) before the injury. Saw he got some snaps against Lake Norman. He is more of a dual threat versus drop back passer.
#1 Caldwell did everything against ND, the only time I saw them play this year. He was dominant as a receiver and carrying the ball.
West Forsyth Offensive weapons are RB D-1 Marcus Caldwell(who is dangerous in the passing game) FB Matt Duke(who's got as many yards as Caldwell on the ground this year) then DB/Slot speedster Jaquan McMillion(plays both ways; has scored 1 or more TD's in the last 6 games) He's so dangerous in special teams & return game and finally DE/TE/WR KJ Henry(plays both ways) a problem defending on 3rd down or red zone offense)
West has some weapons in the guys CPC mentioned, I'll give them that. Problem is that's all they have. Too many holes elsewhere. A good coaching staff like Page will take these away. RB from ND ran for almost 300 yards on West, what do you think Leake is going to do?
Same East Forsyth "talkers" "these two" that support a team that trailed West Forsyth until the 3rd Quarter and barely won. Henry & McMillion didn't play offense & they had a different QB on that Labor Day week 100yrs ago; these 2 guys above are just West haters.

I don't hate West at all. I like to see all Forsyth County teams succeed. Just not a fan of delusional homers who don't know what they are talking about. That's all. Good luck to your Titans.
As a WF it hurts to say this ... but I'm a reasonable man and I'll take Page 41-20 over my Titans . GO TITANS.
That same North Davidson team that put dang near 50 on you guys they all but shut out could that be a quality win?.... That Mt Tabor team that put almost 30 on yall they all but shut out....quality win? By the way they have won 3 in a row over West so why are you talking about East so much? Must be a closet EF fan? Catholic may very well beat East but I promise you that if Catholic scores 21 on EF they would scored 61 on West and that amazing run defense!
Just let it go. CPC will be made a fool again as always. I guess no other teams get better over the course of the season. I doubt an EF-Tabor game now would look any different than what CC did to them last week. You know, maybe WF can borrow some points from "next year" to use against Page. Is Lake Norman a "quality" win?
I wouldnt say Lake Norman was a quality win, they were a 1-man show and played a very weak schedule for a 4AA school ( they played six 3A teams )
If one is a Page fan for this particular athletic event , is said individual pullin' for Butler or Vance, for if the former wins, it's a trip to Charlotte, or what we called that ride back in the day, " Yeller Laundry Boulevard. " Personally, and I feel many around Greensboro feels similar, is for Butler to win, and go down yonder and take care of some damn bidness.
