I nearly lost my crap on that call. We had two guys with over 100 yards rushing and Dak had converted a pair of 4th and 3's already so naturally what do we do on 4th and 1 with a chance to put it away for good?

I didn't mind the decision to throw a pass (would've preferred a run), but it wasn't a high percentage route there.

I scared the sheeet out of wife when I jumped out of my chair after that play. The 17s were flying loud and fast. RUN THE DAMN BALL or
throw a high percentage completion.

It was a terrible decision. Dak may not be a high speed sprinter, but he's a damn near guaranteed 4-5 yards on every carry. He could have bulldozed ahead for a couple yards with his eyes closed

I am starting to think we have the opposite version of the "MAD HATTER" Les makes some questionable play calls and they work out, Dan makes them and they don't. Dan could become known as the "Indifferent Hatter" because he is hard headed.

I understand throwing it deep if UAB completely sells on the run and Bear is all alone down the field. But that wasn't the case. Should've been a run/pass option kind of play at the very least.
