Bottom line for me is I think McCarron will make fewer mistakes than the LSU duo. Home field always helps although LSU, particularly their D, seems to thrive in environments like that. But I just think it's going to come down to QB play and McCarron will be more comfortable in my opinion.

and Saban is 10-5 at LSU and Bama....not sure how accurate that is- but sounds pretty close<div>

I think it's Jarrett Lee that's more comfortable, with all the ups and down that have happened to him, I don't think he can be rattled. LSU D-Line will get to McCarron and he'll make some freshman (or soph., whatever he is) mistakes. LSU ALWAYS takes advantage of mistakes in a big way. This LSU team is different, they come to play every game, no matter who they play. I'm a big fan of them, love how they play the game of football.<div>

Both teams have excellent defenses. Offensively they've been putting up similar numbers, but I think LSU has seen a bit tougher competition than Bama has to this point. Overall, I'd say that they are fairly evenly matched, with LSU slightly ahead. But the game is in Tuscaloosa, and Bama is awfully tough at home. I'll be pulling for LSU because of my extreme hatred for Alabama, but I'm not going to call it either way.

and I have seen nothing that changes my mind. Both teams are ridiculously talented and I will not be surprised if either wins. That said, LSU has look just a little more polished to me so far this season. I think LSU is just a smidge deeper and just a smidge better on both sides of the ball. If the game was in BR, I would say it would be close to a double digit win. In T-town, I see LSU by 3.

I am surprised anyone actually believes differently. Have you watched these teams play this year? Lsu is clearly the better team.

Only because they are at home. If this game was in Baton Rouge, I would have picked LSU.

Both teams to me are basically equal, so home field is going to be the difference.

If forced to it, I'd lay my coins on LSU.

To me LSU has had a slightly tougher schedule, and been pretty impressive.
Bama's been impressive as well.

I don't think the zebra's will take or give it to either...not in this case.

This Bama team is turning into one of college football all time greats IMO. They lead the SEC in offense and defense.

They're too talented.

Bama cruises 21-10

Both teams are evenly matched with the exception of:Trent Richardson is better than any RB on LSU's team; LSU has better QB play (more experience); LSU has a much better kicking game; and the game is in T-town.

If I was forced to pick a winner, I'd go with LSU because I think that AJ throws at least one pick and I can also see Bama having a mistake in the kicking game that costs them points.

I think LSU is being overlooked a little bit this year in spite of the fact they're ranked #1. I know Bama is real good and they're at home, but LSU is simply the better team.I think the Tigers win by more than 1 TD and go on to win the national title.

I'd give the coaching edge to Bama too. Hard to tell who has the better players. One thing though is that McCarron ain't seen the kind of talent he'll see Saturday. And I think that could make a difference (depends on how he responds). Hope the coonasses smack him in the mouth. Bama's also had some slow starts this year (UM, UT, Vandy).

LSU. I want them to win simply because I don't like Alabama.
