San Francisco released a very illegal alien in April and he killed a 32 year old woman.......and guess who not only San Francisco's mayor but our own lame duck "president" blamed........you guessed it....THE REPUBLICANS.!!!!!........(see Josh "Earnest")........seems to me that San Francisco's governing body is in violation of federal law and by rights should be arrested by our brand new attorney general, but since todays politics are the politics of race then I seriously doubt if anything will happen. How would you all feel if the young lady who was killed was YOUR relative?

I'm not related to her and it infuriates me that for the past 35 years the Federal government has allowed these "sanctuary" cities and counties to flaunt Federal law with no response other than finger-wagging. Maybe now some serious consideration will be given to cutting off their funding.
Nice try with the 35 years excuse. The only presidential candidates in favor of sanctuary cities are democrats. BTW, Obama loves them too.

Yeah, nice try blaming Obama and the Democrats for something the Fed has been ignoring all along. It doesn't matter who says they support it, the fact remains that every president and AG since Reagan has let them slide. If, as they keep claiming, GOP candidates want Federal immigration law to be enforced, cutting off Federal funds to sanctuary cities and counties would be a good place to start.
Republicans have tried. Dems have prevented. Simple as that. Hillary and Barack love sanctuary cities. They need the votes.
Bull. Since 1985 the GOP has controlled both houses of Congress five times, and not once, even when passage would have been assured thanks to their majority, have they offered any legislation that would cut off funding to sanctuary cities or counties or states. They haven't even tried their favorite backdoor tactic of slipping it into the Defense bill. I wonder why? Maybe they don't want to be painted as "anti-immigrant" either?
