I did see a post on this. But a interesting topic. What are the benefits of having 7 on 7. Do you think teams are better off now since they have them than when they didn’t have 7 on 7. I understand due to Covid this year I don’t think they are having any.

Kids get to compete. If done right kids learn the passing plays and practice their coverages. Great for team building. And last. Kids generally enjoy them.
Shelby plays a lot of 7 on 7s. It seems to help their skill players.
Teams definitely get better through 7 on 7’s. Look at all the QB’s that have come out of the state of Texas (probably 1/3-1/2 of the NFL starters). Texas was one of the first states to start 7 on 7’s and it has paid huge dividends for improving the quality of play.
