I might be in the minority but that's a little high for the Egg Bowl .. I believe if I had to pay that for upper deck seats.. I'd sit home, watch it on tv, and not have to worry about the changing weather.

That there will 3000 to 4000 empty seats Saturday night in DWS at Scott Field.

Tickets will be plentiful outside the stadium on Saturday. Yes, it is a somewhat meaningful game for MSU with a Bowl trip on the line, but these 2 teams put together couldn't beat a Top 15 team, so even with the hated rivalry thingy and all....I look for a lot of boycotters for this one on both sides.

but those tickets will still have been sold.<div>
</div><div>Only about 600 left that you can buy through the tix office and that is only because UM returned some.</div><div>
</div><div>$70 is not bad for the rivalry game. I sold 4 Bama tix for $125 ea.</div>

I'm a tad disappointed with those prices. I'm returning from deployment today, therefore I couldn't get season tickets. I refuse to pay $210 for my family to sit in the ole miss section of the upper deck. I'll probably just show up Saturday and hope to find a good deal.

UM returned 3,000 out of the 6,000 tickets we gave them. And I bet at least 500 of the 3,000 they did sell won't be there.

Both schools agreed to raise the price a few years ago. The extra $15 or $20 goes to I believe a general scholarship fund for the state or the education system in general for the state. Either way, the extra money price on the ticket is not just raising the price for the sake of raising the price.

We are going to do Thanksgiving at my Daughter's apt since they stayed in Starkville/Columbus due to work. I was thinking about staying til Saturday to go to the Egg Bowl. But then I saw the $70 price for upper deck tixs. I needed 3 but there is no way I am going to put out $210 just for tickets. I will probably tailgate with my daughter for awhile then head home and watch it on the DVR.

They charge prices like this, and get it, but they can't pay players?

You can wait until 5:45 and stroll up and find people selling tickets ( less than $70 and in the lower level). I agree with the Colin Cowherd philosophy that if you want a ticket they’re always available and usually you can find them at face value to any sporting event. </p>

ones you don't use (to State fans) and go to the ones you can. I'm surprised that since there is a waiting list that they haven't done away w/ the cheap seats though.

Both my cars have State tags on them, my wife and I spent a ton of money receiving BS degrees there.. I've grown up a State fan since I was taken to my first college football game when I was 10. I bleed maroon as much anyone. What I don't bleed is green..

I've seen the tickets I've purchased for other games with the $30 price tag on them. Don't understand the double + pricing for ****** seats.

The view from my couch will be fine.

They have charged us some of the highest priced tickets on our schedule when playing at Bought-Tobaccoway the last two trips there.
