It’s still up in the air if Perquimans will be able to play after Thursday night brawl but I figured I’ll start it off. I don’t think it will be as close as last time! Tarboro has been preparing for this team for a while! I’d say 35-10 Tarboro

As long as we can stop their offense I think tarboro will win comfortably this time around. They had no answer for our offense in the first game I don't think they will this time either.
I think our coaching staff will have the guys better prepared for them this time. I think we’ve improved tremendously since that game as well.
Our starting defense has gotten better since then too. I don't think they score 40 on tarboro this time I could be wrong.
There was a fight after a game was over like this in 2018 between D. H. Conley and South Central the last game of the regular season and both were allowed to go on to the playoffs. In the article they made this quote...
"Per HighSchoolOT.com, NCHSAA rules state that football teams who have three or more players ejected for fighting over the course of the season are ineligible to compete in the state playoffs. The NCHSAA also reserves the right to eject players for incidents that “occur before or after games and has the right to review video to issue rulings retroactively.”
I believe they'll get to play but possibly a video review and from I saw on the video the only one on Perquimans team you could retroactively eject is #4 which wouldn't disqualify them. It's just a little different when it's after the game and the refs are gone to make a report.

Didn't think they would being after the game and the refs gone and I didn't see anything that would have warranted the team getting disqualified in my opinion but we know what opinions are like.
I assume they didn't even review the video and supend any player ether and I don't see how you could without knowing who started what which you can't tell from the video and no ref to report what they heard or saw, but I know one thing if I was their coach though and I found out the any of my players instigated the fight like spitting in another players face I wouldn't need a NCHSAA review he wouldn't be playing Friday but that's just me.
I agree wholeheartedly. I think if anything maybe have number four from their team get suspended for the game Friday.

Question for the Dominant Tarboro fan base. Why is only the football program good since you have all thoses athletes?

Good question. Football has been the all in sport of choice. With the team going deep in the playoffs each year the basketball programs suffers. After football a few of the players go to basketball and others start preparing for the upcoming football season. Some will eventually wind up in baseball. As best as i can remember most of the baseball and basketball teams are usually .500 and above. There has been some individual wrestling , track and tennis state champs. I'm sure another Tarboro faithful can give a better answer.
In large part because football skills do not directly translate to basketball or baseball. If you look at wrestling, they have an above average program. Those skills have a higher correlation with each other. Just being a good athlete doesnt mean you can be skilled at multiple sports.
B/c it’s a football town honestly. They’re taught the same offense & defense from Peewee to high school! Oh & Tarboro has a sophomore player that will be a D1 prospect! That ? sounds like jealousy.
Yea they’ve had a few state champions in wrestling, track won back to back a few years ago. Kelvin Bryant’s daughter won states in tennis & didn’t Layton Dupree win something in golf?

You know this is honestly an interesting question. Simply put tarboro is a football school all of their priorities and all of their attention goes to football. Now our wrestling program is really good, we had a wrestler win States a few years ago. Kelvin Bryant's daughter won a state championship in tennis my senior year as well.
