Lots of fun to watch from a historical standpoint... you have a young Jackie in his prime prowling the A&M sidelines, Pat Dye with a goofy hat on, Bo Jackson running for Auburn, really bad university promotional videos complete with cheesy 80s hairstyles and graphics, plus a young Brent Musberger calling the action. Check it out if you've got CBS College...

you tend to forget how hard and fast he hit that hole, virtually unstoppable once he got a head of steam...

Also a lot of attention being paid to the "12th Man" special teams squad. All 12 members of the kickoff team, including the kicker, were walkons. Doubt that's been done before or since. The of A&M fans waving the white towels in the stands was a pretty cool sight as well. I recall Jackie trying to get that started at MSU, but it didn't stick.

Musberger made mention that A&Ms only losses were to Bama and Baylor(?). Bama also beat Auburn that season with Mike Shula at QB

I am pretty sure the Kicker was the only scholarship player too. At least that is what Musburger said during the broadcast.

The thing I noticed most about that game.....

The passing game in college football has gotten a lot better. Well, at least compared to those teams on that day. There wasn't much protection on most plays.

AU's running attack was a beast.

The uniforms.....the full face mask, the big hip pads that actually covered your hip bone, the loose fitting jerseys.
