We were robbed in that game. It should've been a blowout by halftime.

#77, Jesse James, did it twice, and it was blatant. Then we fell asleep in the 2nd half.

I can say that at least one of them was blatent holding. I was dog-cussing the OL before the receiver ever even got the ball.

have bothered me for years. you could've tied your shoes between the snap and the punt. Then, at the end, our QB overthrew a wide open reciever. Didn't just miss him, missed him by 20 yds.

That game always made me wonder.</p>

and still manage to lose the game. We should have won that game by 3 touchdowns.

That was a very good team.

That team had two receivers that would eventually be drafted, Willie Harris and Olanda Truitt. That team alone had more WR draft picks on it than Mississippi State has had the 14 or so year since. The only other was Moulds.

Backs were Micheal Davis and Kenny Roberts...

The offensive line was very solid and and coached by Rick Trickett. One of the best OL coaches in football. He was Saban's OL coach for a while at LSU, the was at West Virginia, now at Florida State.

Greg Plump was a servicable QB for the offense that we ran...He was no Sleepy though...
