Like I said, a big if. However, he has changed his position on immigration. He is young and charasmatic with a terrific personal story (son of a bartender and maid). He is also Latino. Would be tough for Hillary to beat.

If Rubio gets the GOP nomination it will be really interesting to see how much of the Hispanic vote he gets in the general election. The GOP has been losing that segment more and more lately in national elections and that segment is a growing proportion of the overall population. Rubio would surely reverse some of the Hispanic vote losses the GOP suffered in recent elections but it would be interesting to see how much.

I think Rubio could give Hillary a race -- assuming of course that some other Democrat doesn't come out of the woodwork to knock her out the way Obama did in 2008 -- and if that happens then I'd say his odds of winning the White House would be even better.

Not nationally known enough or considered presidential. It will be Bush or Walker against Clinton. The same dynamic that worked for Obama is lacking in Rubio and Warren. Obama was and is a very skilled orator,is charismatic and had a very compelling message. A very,very liberal friend of mine who lives in Vermont told me back in 2005 to keep an eye on Obama. He was correct.

I'm still pissed about him taking all of my guns - damn commie, socialist, muslim, dictator, impotent bastard.
On a serious note: I am dumbfounded at how so many people do not have a clue about what net neutrality really is. They really can't grasp the simple concept that net neutrality is a win for ordinary, everyday users of the internet like us. They can't get it through their head that Comcast, Verizon, AT&T, etc. would have been able to stick it to us and the internet would have no longer been a level playing field, with preferential treatment of certian sites.

What do they control? Is Hill really getting the press support she got prior to the arrival of Obama? Ain't seeing it so much as reporting the warts. Think the press may be waiting on someone else to step up and replace Hill while not leaving the press with egg on their face for making a hasty jump. Maybe they will fall in bed if no one stands up prior to year end.

Should have taken your own advice in the general election. And warren? Pocahontas? lol
To some degree I agree with you. Other Republican candidates would have gotten more of the establishment republican voters but not sure if they could have help up against media attaks the same way as Trump. Trump had a strong base from the beginning that were going to stick with him and did.
I think she may have beaten Mitt because he would not have brought out a lot of first time voters like Trump did with his populist appeal for some folks. In retrospect, I'm glad she lost, if she had won then that would have been 12 years of Democrats in the white house and the GOP could have continued to suck up state offices and just based their appeal on opposing the Democrats. With Trump at the helm they have to show they can govern and they aren't exactly broadening their base. "Demographics" may cause chuckles on here but I like statistics and the GOP is doing badly with groups that are growing and doing great with groups that are shrinking.
Just because you repeat it doesn’t make it so. Folks care about money, and with Trump, they’re getting more than they were under the last guy. THAT MATTERS and will have an impact. You’re fooling yourself if you think otherwise.
