I have no idea what his objectives are. And there had to have been a better way to accomplish it besides being like a quadruple agent. Too many things had to happen for that to work.
It definitely leaves me wondering who he's working for. It's obviously not Starkwood, or he wouldn't have blown up all the missiles to just get one canister. That's what really makes no sense to me. If he's got some other boss, why'd they let Starkwood get that close, only to blow up nearly all of the weapon. Why didn't they jack it from Starkwood? Maybe they just want the gas so they can reproduce it? I don't effing know.
Hell, he started the season as a double agent. Bill was his handler and he was tracking a computer chip. Then, he disappears, only to resurface and help Jack blow up the weapon. Now, he's turned on Jack and taken a piece of the weapon. They've really got to tie this up tight because it's getting pretty sloppy.

One of the best episodes EVER?? Jack has been sitting in the office for two episodes now crying and shivering like a biatch. He hasn't killed anybody in two hours. The president is terrible, just absolutely terrible. Geanene Garafolo ruins every shot she is in. Are you people just pulling my leg? This is the worst season yet.
I love the show, and I'm going to stick with the show, but it sure does need to be tied off good. Someone else mentioned that they didn't know what his motivation was... That's my big thing... I just can't figure out why in the heck he would do this.Seshomoru said:

Was a good episode, but one of the best ever???? Not quite. I did say "OH ****" when Tony pulled his stunt, but nothing was more intense than when Jack killed Curtis. That to me was the most intense episode ever. Gonna be VERY hard to beat that one in my opinion. Was good to see Kim back...the less she talks though, the better. And I agree......this woman playing the president is the WORST actress I've seen since Carmen Electra. At least she's hot.

I knew that either Tony was going to turn on Jack or Tony was going to be the new Jack in the future. I didn't know if they were going to write Jack out after all of Sutherland's legal troubles in the past. Guess that question was answered. Kudo's to the 24 writers for not letting the series get predictable.
The most shocking thing they ever did on that show was when Jack killed Chapelle execution style in season 3. That episode, along with the last 1h01m of season 1 were the best episodes.
I thought John Voight has been outstanding and he's played the corporate villain quite well. Many different sides to the character. I was hoping that the writers would have had President Daniels in office for another season, and he would have been the first two term president on 24. His treachery and womanizing made him a far more interesting character than the current president.

Voight is great as the villian, but can you imagine how great he could have been as the President ? Great actor. Garafalo and the lady playing the President SUCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKK
completed one. If you noticed, he looked directly where Tony was hiding.

The FBI characters are all dull (except Walker), especially compared to the CTU staff from previous seasons. Garafalo's part could be played by a nobody and you couldn't tell the difference. I've never understood what her appeal is. I've never seen anything she's in and think that she's great.
