A couple of positives on defense

Both of these guys played more and made a difference against the run and with the pass rush. Burroughs in particular had a really good game. He is the former Alabama signee that transferred from Miami. He's starting to put it together for once in his career and that bodes well for us. These guys together are almost 700lbs. Can't coach size.

You fix that with talent and coaching in the off season.

Our coaches must accept that weakness and find a way to mitigate.

They kept the same strength and conditioning coach. They are bigger and stronger. Looks like they don't wrap up and sometime one guy gets out of place he blocks the other guy. It can be fix. Last year's team would have loss today.

I am not a coach, but I think Lebby is going to have to play slow on offense next week and keep our defense off the field as much as possible. Today they were not ready to play. Maybe looking pass NIU to Tenn and NIU turned out to be a better team than they thought. I was impressed that they did come out the second half and played good football.

Looked like Manny Diaz's Hawk Tackling. We were trying to knock them off of their feet instead of locking up.

Early on, they were running inside, and bouncing out , to our flanks and getting yards.
That was our D setup, be we mostly closed that down, later.

Their offense is terrible…but we held them to 10….awesomeness.
