1. ESPN says Miami will pay Golden right at 2 million per year. That's not the kind of money a "national caliber" program pays its HC. I think Miami has decidedly fallen far back into the pack now. In this day and age, you can't win big in Division I without spending some money. <div>
</div><div>2. Auburn had better enjoy this one. Malzahn and Cam are the whole reason they are where they are. Without some unforeseen home run hire at OC, I see a very mediocre Auburn team next year. Wouldn't if be something if it were bad enough that Chizik is fired within 2 or 3 years of a NC? I think it's safe to say that he was more of a figurehead in their rapid ascent.</div>
